  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 照明用の小型蛍光ランプと、内面に鏡面処理が
    施され、側壁にランプ挿通孔が対向して形成され
    た略箱型のケーシングと、ケーシングの光照射用
    開口を覆う拡散板とからなり、 前記ケーシングの挿通孔の外側に内周面がテー
    パー状の保持筒が突設され、小型蛍光ランプの両
    端近傍に装着された外周面がテーパー状の軟弾性
    環状部材が該保持筒に圧入されて保持され、かつ
    該保持筒の少なくとも一方には一対の切割りが形
    成されたことを特徴とする液晶デイスプレイ用バ
    ツクライト装置。
