The steel sash is being renovated and a new aluminum sash frame is fitted around its inner periphery. Conventionally, when installing a new aluminum sash frame, it is attached to an old steel sash frame without any anti-vibration material. Therefore, the sound insulation performance of the opening frame is not much different from the old steel sash. On the other hand, refurbished sashes are performed as a refurbishment of old steel sashes that have deteriorated, so they can be used as sashes with new functions or soundproof sashes with improved sound insulation performance. However, with the conventional method of attaching the opening frame of a renovated sash, even if the glass and stile of the shoji have improved soundproofing properties, the soundproofing effect may be diminished. The above points also apply to the construction of renovated sashes on old aluminum sashes.

Between the old upper frame 5 and the new upper frames 105A and 105B, a splicing frame 50 made of extruded aluminum is arranged as a connecting member. The supporting frame 50 has a length that does not exceed the upper frames 105A and 105B and has a substantially T-shaped cross section, and the outer end of the horizontal member 51 is provided with a flange 52 that comes into contact with the vibration isolating material 17. The inner end has a flange 5 for attaching the upper frame 105B.
3 will be provided. Further, the vertical member 54 hanging down from the horizontal member 51 contacts the upper frame 105A via the flat vibration isolating material 18, and the lower end of the vertical member is bent inward and contacts the upper frame 105B of the inner frame. A flange 55 is provided for mounting. Here, vibration isolating material 17,1
8 is glued at the factory to the support frame 50 for attaching the upper frames 105A and 105B, and its length may span the entire length of the support frame 50, but it should be short in order to achieve appropriate vibration damping performance. It is preferable to arrange a plurality of damping materials and insert a sealing material between the damping materials.

In this way, the attachment frames 50 and 60 are attached to the old opening frame 1. The vertical members 54 of the tie frames 50 and the vertical members 64 of the tie frames 60 are on the same plane, and the four corners of the tie frames 50 and 60 form a simple joint. This part's attachment frame 50, 60
A sealing material is applied from the inner circumferential surfaces of the support frames 50 and 60 and the externally facing surfaces of the vertical members 54 and 64 to the joints to seal the joints. In this way, even if rainwater enters the board through the four corner joints of the new opening frame 2, it will not reach the current opening frame 1, so corrosion of the old opening frame 1 due to water can be prevented.

In the renovated sash constructed in this way, an attachment frame is fixed to the old opening frame, and a new opening frame is fixed to the attachment frame. Since the new opening frame is elastically supported by vibration-proofing material on the supporting frame, the sound transmitted inside the new opening frame is suppressed by the vibration-proofing material. This has the effect of increasing transmission loss and lowering the sound pressure inside the room. Vibrations transmitted through the ground such as roads and railways cause buildings to vibrate, and even if stationary vibrations that resonate with the glass glass and oscillate are transmitted from the old opening frame to the support frame, they are attenuated by the vibration isolating material and reduced. Then, the mass ratio of the new opening frame within the opening frame and the frame for storing shoji etc. is increased.
