A product display panel with a structure in which a plurality of vertically extending angular upright flanges are integrally formed on the surface of the panel and hooks are hooked onto the flanges is disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 47-4728. This is already known from publications such as No. Although such panels are strongly required to have a decorative element of their own, when multiple panels are connected to each other on an indoor wall, the interconnections between them become exposed. Decorative effect is lost. In particular, when the panel is fastened with screws, many heads of the screws are exposed, resulting in a significant decrease in commercial value. Furthermore, when connecting the panels to each other, when winding the ends of adjacent panels to be connected, not only does the winding work take a considerable amount of time, but the surface of the panels must be cleaned with a winding tool. There is also a risk of getting hurt. Therefore, a configuration can be considered in which engaging parts are provided at both the upper and lower ends of the panel, and the engaging parts are hooked together to connect the upper and lower ends without any gaps. There is a risk that the joint will be exposed from the outside and the decorativeness will be impaired. Further, there is a risk that dirt and dust may accumulate in the upwardly open groove surrounded by the uppermost flange, resulting in unsanitary conditions. Therefore, in the cover member of the display panel according to Utility Model Application Publication No. 57-16849, the present inventor proposed a hook that can be detached from the engaging portion 2A formed on the panel substrate of the display panel as shown in FIG. a retaining portion 10h, and a top that extends forward from the retaining portion 10h and covers the upper part of the upwardly open groove 6 of the display panel when the retaining portion 10h is engaged with the engaging portion 2A of the display panel. Wall part 10a
and an exposed front wall part 10b that hangs down at the tip side of the top wall part 10a, and a hanging part 10h that is connected to the lower part of the exposed front wall part 10b and is hooked to the engaging part of the display panel. The present invention discloses a cover member 10 for a display panel that includes a fitting piece 10c having a width that allows it to be inserted into the upward open groove 6. Note that in the drawings, the configurations other than the cover member are the same as those of this embodiment described later, so the same configurations are denoted by the same reference numerals and the explanation thereof will be omitted. With this invention, the above-mentioned drawbacks were solved, the upward open end could be closed, and the decorativeness could be improved. However, in the above configuration, in order to fit the cover member into the upward open groove, it is necessary to form a certain clearance between the ceiling or the like and the display panel. That is, as shown in FIG. 5, in order to fit the cover member 10 into the display panel 1', the upper end of the flange 41 is lowered by at least the entire length of the cover member 10 from a height-limiting position such as the ceiling C. position must be placed. Therefore, after the cover member 10 is fitted into the display panel 1', a gap is created between the ceiling C and the upper end of the cover member 10, exposing the mounting surface and impairing the decorativeness.

In order to solve the above problems, this invention forms an upward release groove that extends upward through ribs that protrude outward from a flat panel board that is stretched over an indoor wall, support, or other surface to which it is attached. A cover member for use in a display panel provided with a flange, the cover member having a hook portion that can be engaged with and detached from an engagement portion formed above a panel substrate of the display panel, and a hook portion that is detachable from the hook portion. a top wall portion that extends forward and covers the upper part of the upwardly open groove of the display panel when the hook portion is hooked to the engaging portion of the display panel; and a top wall portion that hangs down at the tip side of the top wall portion; an exposed front wall portion, which is connected to the lower part of the exposed front wall portion and has a width that allows insertion into the upwardly open groove portion when the hooking portion is hooked to the engaging portion of the display panel. In a cover member for a display panel consisting of a fitted piece, a technical measure is taken in which at least the side of the exposed front wall near the fitted piece is made of a flexible or elastic material.

A preferred embodiment of the cover member for the display panel of this invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. The display panel 1 includes a flat panel substrate 2,
A plurality of upper and lower ribs 3 1 protruding from the surface of the substrate.
3 o and flanges 4 1 to 4 o connected to the tips of each of the ribs, forming an integral structure made of a light metal such as aluminum. In this display panel 1, the ribs 3 1 to 3 o each extend continuously in the horizontal direction and are arranged in rows at regular intervals in the vertical direction. On the other hand, the flanges 4 1 to 4 o have back central portions along the longitudinal direction integrally connected to the tips of the ribs 3 1 to 3 o , spaced apart from and parallel to the surface of the panel substrate 2, and extending in the vertical direction. They are arranged on the same surface at regular intervals. Therefore, each flange 4 1 to 4 o is attached to the panel board 2
An upward open groove 6 and a downward open groove 7 are formed at the upper and lower portions of each of the ribs 3 1 to 3 o . The flanges 4 1 to 4 o also form a horizontally elongated opening 5 that opens between them and communicates with the adjacent upward open groove 6 and downward open groove 7 . The vertical width of the horizontally elongated opening 5 is such that a hanging portion of a known display item holding hook can be inserted and removed, and the flange 4 1 -
It is preferable for aesthetics to set the length to 2/5 or less of the vertical width of each of the 4 o's (of course, there is no particular restriction on the structure). This makes it possible to enhance the decorativeness of the surface of the display panel 1. In the case of the illustrated panel board 2, the upper end edge extends to a position where it is not hidden by the uppermost flange 41 , and a stepped wall portion 2A, which is an example of a locking portion, is formed at the tip of the extended end. has been done. As is clear from FIGS. 3 and 4, this step wall portion 2A is integrally formed in the shape of a step recessed along the longitudinal direction on the back surface of the panel substrate 2 by an amount corresponding to the thickness of the lower locking portion 2B, which will be described later. There is. The stepped wall portion 2A connects the panel substrate 2 to a wall surface, a pillar,
This is to form a groove 13 for panel connection between the mounting surface W and the mounting surface W when the panel is stretched over the mounting surface W of a fixture or the like. Further, on the upper edge side surface portion of the panel substrate 2,
A groove 8 for drilling holes for screwing is formed along the stepped wall 2A. On the other hand, the length of the lower end of the panel substrate 2 is set so that it is located near the rib 3o of the lowermost flange 4o and is hidden by the lowermost flange 4o . In this embodiment, the lower end edge 2B of the lower end is formed into a tapered surface that narrowly slopes downward on the front side, and is fitted into the panel connecting groove 13 formed by the stepped wall 2A. It is a lower locking part that can be inserted. Furthermore, a plurality of decorative grooves 9 are formed on the surface of each of the flanges 4 1 to 4 o , extending continuously in the respective longitudinal directions and arranged in rows at small intervals in the vertical direction. The display panel 1 having the above-described structure is attached by joining a plurality of panels vertically (and horizontally as necessary). In this embodiment, the cover member 20 covers the upper edge of the uppermost panel substrate 2 in this attached state. The cover member 20 has an upper part hooked onto the step wall 2A of the panel board 2, and a lower part part of the uppermost upwardly open groove formed by the uppermost flange 41 and rim 31 of the panel board 2. 6 and is configured to be fitted and aligned. That is, the cover member 20 includes a hooking portion 20h that is removable from the stepped wall portion 2A formed on the panel substrate 2 of the display panel 1, and a hooking portion that extends forward from the hooking portion 20h. 20h on the step wall 2A of the display panel 1;
A front wall portion 20b that hangs down at the tip side and becomes a part of the exposed front wall portion 20B, a tapered surface portion 20f that is connected to the lower part of the front wall portion 20b and gradually slopes inward, and the tapered surface portion 20f. A fitting extending substantially vertically below the display panel and having a width such that it can be inserted into the upward open groove 6 of the uppermost stage when the hanging part 20a is hung on the stepped wall 2A of the display panel. It is composed of a folding piece part 20c. This cover member 20 is shown in detail in FIG.
The hooking portion 20h has the same configuration as the lower end edge portion 2B that serves as the lower locking portion of the display panel, and has a flat back surface and a tapered surface that narrowly slopes downward along the front surface. It has a shape that can be fitted into the panel connecting groove 13 formed by the stepped wall 2A. In addition, since the top wall portion 20a is set to be slightly longer (l) than the width of the uppermost upward open groove portion 6,
When the hanging portion 20h is locked to the stepped wall portion 2A, the front wall portion 20 hangs down from the tip of the top wall portion 20a.
The tapered surface portions 20f through 20f are formed at an upwardly extending portion of the uppermost flange 4 1 of the panel substrate 2 so as to be adjacent to the flange 4 1 . Further, the fitting piece portion 20c, which is integrally provided below the tapered surface portion 20f, is oriented in the direction (back side) that narrows the width l between the hanging portion 10h or its hanging line and the front wall portion 20b. Once the tapered surface portion 20f
It is integrally formed parallel to the front wall portion 20b via the front wall portion 20b. In this embodiment, the fitting piece 20c has a substantially U-shape that is curved back toward the back side, and its width is such that it fits into the uppermost open groove 6 through a slight gap. It is set to a length that can be inserted. As a result, the fitting piece 20c is connected to the upward open groove 6.
The engagement state of the cover member 20 can be ensured without any looseness occurring within the groove when the cover member 20 is fitted into the groove. Further, the fitting piece portion 20c is connected to the uppermost flange 4 1
Since the cover members 20 abut against each other on the back surfaces thereof, there is no risk that the cover member 20 will easily come off even if force is applied to the cover member 20 in the forward direction. The cover member 20 configured as described above is molded from two types of synthetic resin materials (in this embodiment, two types of vinyl chloride), and soft vinyl chloride is used at the portion corresponding to the tapered surface portion 20f.
Hard vinyl chloride is used for the other parts (hanging part 20h, top wall part 20a, front wall part 20b, and fitting piece part 20c), in other words, soft vinyl chloride is sandwiched from both sides. It is made of hard vinyl chloride and is integrally molded using a known molding method. In addition, the case where the display panel 1 used in this embodiment is attached to the wall surface W will be explained. When installing the panels, screw holes 8a are drilled in advance at selected locations at appropriate intervals in the screw hole drilling grooves 8 of each panel 1 using a drill or the like. First, one panel 1 is stretched.
The tensioning is easily accomplished by fixing the upper end of the panel substrate 2 to the mounting surface W with screws 12 through the screw holes 8a. In this fixed state, an upward groove 13 is formed between the stepped wall 2A on the upper end side of the panel substrate 2 and the mounting surface W. In this state, the upper edge side of the board of the display panel 1,
Since the heads of the screws 12 that fasten the panel are exposed, the beauty of the entire panel will be impaired if left as is. Therefore, the fitting piece part 20c of the cover member 20 is fitted into the upward open groove part 6 formed by the uppermost flange 41 of the panel 1, and the tapered surface part 20f is aligned.
The top wall portion 20a to the hanging portion 20 are curved outward.
If you fit h into the display panel 1 side with a small diameter and move it,
The hooking portion 10h of the cover member can be hooked onto the stepped wall portion 2A of the panel 1 using fewer spacers in the height direction (see FIG. 4). Since the upper edge of the board of the panel 1 and the heads of the screws 12 are all covered by the cover member 10, there is no exposed part of the panel board 2 extending upward from the uppermost flange 41 of the panel 1. As a result, the beauty of the entire connection panel is improved, and because of the cover member 20 fitted into the uppermost panel 1, most of the gap between the ceiling C and the uppermost panel 1 is covered by the cover member 20. The surface W to be mounted is not exposed. In this invention, it goes without saying that the display panel in which the cover member is used is not limited to the above-mentioned embodiments, and may have an L-shaped cross section in which the flange extends only upward from the tip of the rib. It does not matter whether the cross section is T-shaped horizontally as in the example above. Furthermore, in the above embodiment, the exposed front wall part is divided into two parts and the lower tapered surface part is made of an elastic or flexible material, but the entire exposed front wall part including the front wall part is made of an elastic or flexible material. It may be formed by Furthermore, it goes without saying that the specific shape of the exposed front wall is not limited to the above embodiments, and in short, the portion of the exposed front wall that is continuous above the fitting piece is elastic or flexible. It is sufficient if the structure has the characteristics. Furthermore, the locking structure formed on the locking portion of the cover member is not particularly limited, and may be any structure that can be releasably locked onto the locking portion formed on the display panel.

This idea closes almost all the gap between the display panel and the restraining member in the height direction, such as the ceiling, by fitting the cover member into the display panel stretched on the top tier. be able to. Therefore, there is no place where the mounting surface is exposed, and the decorativeness of the display panel can be greatly enhanced.
