As shown by the solid line in FIG. 3, when the movable contact 9 is bent into an arched shape by the opening force of the U-shaped portion 13a of the toggle spring 13 and is in contact with the movable contact 10, a constant current flows through the movable contact 9. Since both contacts 9 and 10 are maintained in the closed state during the operation, the operating rod 14 is held in the retracted position as shown by the solid line in FIG. 3 by the elastic force of the spring 15. On the other hand, when an overcurrent flows through the movable contact 9, the temperature of the movable contact 9 increases due to the current, and the movable contact 9 stretches linearly against the opening force of the U-shaped portion 13a. As a result, the toggle spring 13 swings clockwise as shown by the chain line in FIG.
The operating rod 14 is held in the protruding position as shown by the chain line in FIG.

As clearly shown in FIG. 5, a plurality of engaging pawls (six in the illustrated example) are provided on the side edge of the substrate 2a of the button holder 2, protruding in a direction opposite to the guide tube 2b.
Among these engaging claws, four engaging claws 2e are arranged to face each other between the guide cylinder 2b and the spacers 2c on both sides thereof, and these engaging claws 2e
It is approximately perpendicular to the flat surface of a. The remaining two engaging claws 2f are arranged on the base periphery of both spacers 2c so as to face each other, and each engaging claw 2f is inclined at an acute angle with respect to the flat surface of the substrate 2a. .

When temporarily fixing the button holder 2 to the contact storage case 1, the operating rod 14 is loosely inserted into the guide tube 2d, the board 2a is overlapped with the mounting member 6, and the contact is accommodated using the four substantially right-angled engaging claws 2e. Both side surfaces of the case 1 are sandwiched, and two inclined engaging claws 2f are respectively engaged with the edges of both mounting bracket portions 6a.

When attaching the switch Sw to a switch panel P, as shown in FIG. Then, both spacers 2c are brought into contact with the inner surface of the switch panel, so that the screw insertion holes 20 of each spacer 2c are aligned with the screw insertion holes 27 of the switch panel P. Then, the tightening screws 28 are passed through the screw insertion holes 27 and 20 from the outside of the switch panel P, and are screwed into the screw holes 8 of the mounting brackets 6a, respectively. In this case, the button holder 2 is temporarily attached to the contact housing case 1, the screw insertion hole 20 of the button holder 2 matches the screw hole 8 of the contact housing case 1, and the push button 3 is temporarily attached to the guide tube 2b. Since the push button 3 and the return spring 25 are not stopped and do not fly out from the guide tube 2b, the installation work of the switch Sw can be performed extremely easily.

C. Effects of the invention According to the invention, the push button can be temporarily fixed to the guide tube by supporting the protrusion of the push button on the stepped surface of the temporary fixing groove of the guide tube by both pushing and rotating the push button. The push button can be easily attached to the guide tube. Further, if the push button is temporarily fixed to the guide tube, the push button and the return spring will not fly out from the guide tube when the guide tube is attached to the mounting panel, and the work of attaching the guide tube can be carried out extremely easily.
