[Detailed description of the invention] The present invention relates to a prevention structure for preventing the light emitting part and reflected light from appearing doubly overlapped due to the eye point, that is, the visual reading position, of a light emitting display such as a fluorescent display tube. It is.

Conventionally, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the light emitting segment 2 of the fluorescent display tube 1 and the image 3 formed by the reflected light appear to overlap each other, making them difficult to visually recognize.

More specifically, when a self-luminous display segment 5 is arranged inside the display tube front glass 4 as shown in FIG. A reflected light image 7 and a secondary reflected light image 8 are formed by the reflecting surfaces 9 and 10, and depending on the position of the eye point 11, the display segment 5 and the secondary reflected light image 8 are approximately the same size and are doubled. There are flaws that can be seen.

In short, it is sufficient to reduce the influence of the primary reflected light image 24, increase the contrast ratio between the display segment 21 and the secondary reflected light image 25, and prevent double images when viewed from the viewing position 26.

The first purpose of the cover glass 22 described above is to prevent double images, and the second purpose is to prevent dust. Furthermore, it goes without saying that plastic may be used instead of glass.

An example of the use of the present invention is a digital clock 101 attached to a dash board 100 in an automobile (see Fig. 5).The light image emitted from the display segment 21 is transmitted through the cover glass 22 and placed at a visible position. 26, the primary reflected light image 24 becomes the secondary reflected light image 25.
This reduces the influence and increases the contrast ratio between the display segment 21 and the secondary reflected light image 25 when viewed from the viewing position 26, making it possible to prevent double images. Therefore, the present invention has the above-mentioned configuration and function, and is particularly capable of preventing a self-luminous light-emitting display from appearing double in any viewing angle range, thereby improving visibility. In addition, the concave surface of the cover glass prevents contact between the outer surface of the display tube surface glass and the inner surface of the cover glass, making it possible to reduce the overall thickness of the device as much as possible, making it dust-proof, etc. There is an effect.
