It is known that the core thickness of some parts is made thinner than that of other parts by reducing the number of warp yarns compared to other parts. (Refer to Utility Model Application Publication No. 58-181109).

Oil is poorly absorbed and cannot be burned evenly with strong firepower.Furthermore, the upper part of the cotton section 35 has poor fuel suction efficiency due to the intersection of the warp and weft yarns. The upper surface 36 of the cotton part 35
The surface is uneven, and a gap is created between the warp and weft yarns, resulting in poor adhesion to the core guide tube 37 of the device, and unnecessary draft action occurs between the inside of the tank and the outside air, resulting in poor fuel suction performance and fire extinguishing. In addition to impeding performance, there were other drawbacks such as increased oil leakage when the equipment fell over.

32,32の絡まり具合が異なるものである。 In addition, in the wick for a combustion appliance shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, the felt-like fiber layers 32, 32 made of glass fiber are simply bundled with glass, cotton, or other fibers on the entire surface, or the thick warp threads 30 are twisted horizontally. In parallel, the warp layer 31
The glass fibers of the felt-like fiber layers 32, 32 are entwined with the horizontally parallel thick warp threads 30 by needle punching, so that the adjacent thick warp threads 30 are separated and many separation voids are formed. Sections 33, 33... are formed and thick warp threads 30 are arranged in parallel.
The warp layer 31 formed by the above-mentioned glass fiber felt-like fiber layers 32, 32 come into contact with each other and come apart, and furthermore, the warp threads 30 are deformed and the dimensions are unstable when the device is attached, resulting in poor fuel suction effect. The raising is not done evenly and becomes uneven, and the flame is not evenly aligned. Furthermore, in the warp layer 31 formed with thick warp threads 30, the warp threads 30 become uneven when the core is raised and lowered, so it is difficult to adjust the firepower by raising and lowering the core smoothly. There were drawbacks such as the inability to carry out That is, in the case shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, glass fibers or the like are simply bundled in one direction to form the warp 30 with a large warp, or the bundle is twisted to form the warp 30 with a large warp. Therefore, when the needle is inserted by needle punching, when the needle tip hits and pierces the warp thread 30 with a large diameter, a strong force is applied to pierce the needle tip into the warp thread 30, and the warp thread 30 and the felt-like fiber layer 32 are separated. If such a problem occurs, and if the needle tip pierces between the adjacent large diameter warp threads 30, 30 when inserting the needle with a needle punch, a force will act to separate the large diameter warp threads 30, 30, and the large diameter warp threads will The warp layer 31 formed by lining up the warp layers 30
The warp layer 31 and the felt fiber layers 32, 32 have different entanglements.

た。 In addition, since the warp layer 31 is formed by arranging a large number of warps 30 with a large diameter, the thickness is not uniform over the entire surface, but the suction of oil through the warps 30 with a large diameter is uniform on average. Furthermore, it is impossible to uniformly supply oil to the felt fiber layers 32, 32 through the warp threads 30 over the entire surface, which results in uneven fuel suction and uneven supply. It had drawbacks such as the inability to carry out combustion.

したものである。 This invention solves the above problems, and the fuel can be sucked up efficiently and evenly, eliminating uneven combustion.Furthermore, the wick can be raised and lowered smoothly to adjust the heating power to eliminate uneven combustion. It is possible to mass-produce non-woven fabric interlining at low cost, and it is also possible to increase the height (distance) from the liquid fuel level to the combustion part, so that the liquid fuel The object of the present invention is to obtain a cylindrical core for a combustion appliance that is convenient to use and can prevent heating to high temperatures and continue safe combustion.

In the core, a long fiber layer 3 is formed by forming a sheet of many long fibers lined up and down in the same direction, and short fiber random web layers 4 are polymerized on both sides of the long fiber layer 3 to form short fibers. The fiber random web layers 4, 4 are shown on the front and back sides, and each layer is integrally joined by needle punching to form the wicking core 2, and the wicking core 2 has an upper wide part 5 and an intermediate part 5. A short fiber random web layer is formed by providing a bending part 6 and a narrow hem width part 7, and cutting and removing the surfaces of the short fiber random web layers 4, 4 on the front and back sides along the upper edge 8 and lower edge 9 of the intermediate bending part 6. By forming a large number of cuts 11, 11, etc. in parallel across the upper edge 8 and the lower edge 9, the bending and stretching properties of the intermediate bending part 6 are extremely flexible and smooth, and the top and bottom of the core are not heavy. This prevents defects such as the lead not being completely lowered, and allows the lead to be moved up and down at all times smoothly, thereby eliminating various troubles caused by poor lead raising.

There is no problem at all, and in combustion appliances with a fuel tank located at the bottom, the fuel level in the fuel tank decreases as the combustion time increases, but the long fiber layer 3
has excellent capillary action and does not reduce fuel uptake, so the firepower does not become weak.
