にある洗濯水は、回転ドラム2の後端壁2bに設けた洗
濯水通路6によって回転ドラム2内に導入される。すな
わち、第2図に示す回転ドラム2の回転によって洗濯水
レベル(L)より下方に洗濯水通路6の汲み上げ部7が
位置した状態から上昇することで、回転ドラム2と外槽
1との間にある洗濯水を洗濯水通路6に汲み上げ、第3
図に示すように、汲み上げ部7が上方になり流入口8が
下方に位置する状態になることで、洗濯水通路6に汲み
上げられた洗濯水がこの通路6を流下し、流入口8から
リントフィルタ9を経て回転ドラム2内に流入する。そ
して、回転ドラム2内にある洗濯水はその周壁2aに設
けた多数の小孔から回転ドラム2と外槽1との間に流出
する。したがって、洗濯時には、洗濯水の一部は、回転
ドラム2と外槽1の間から洗濯水通路6、回転ドラム2
内を経てこれと外槽1との間に戻る循環をする。また、
循環する洗濯水は、流入口8からリントフィルタ9を経

たリントが上記フィルタ9で捕集、除去され、清浄化さ
れて回転ドラム2内に導かれる。このため、洗濯水を有
効に活用して洗濯品質を向上させることができる。 洗濯の終了後、外槽1および回転ドラム2から洗濯水を
排水し、続いて洗剤を含まない水道水などの濯ぎ水を、
給水機構によって外槽1および回転ドラム2内に給水し
、回転ドラム2を回転させて、濯ぎを行うことは、従来
のドラム式洗濯機と同様であるが、この濯ぎ時にも、上
述した洗濯時と同様に、回転ドラム2と外槽1との間の
濯ぎ水の一部が洗濯水通路6からリントフィルタ9を経
て回転ドラム2内に流入し回転ドラム2と外槽1との間
に戻る循環をするので、濯ぎ水に混入したリン)・も上

ドラム2内に手を入れて、リントフィルタ9の取付リン
グ9bを回すことでこのリング9bを端Pi2b内面に
固定した保持筒10から外し、上記フィルタ9を機外に
出して清掃し、再びフィルタ9の取付リング9bを保持
筒10に締め付ける。この場合に、フィルタ9は、回転
ドラム2内上部の洗濯物出し入れ目4に近い位置に配置
しであるので、容易に脱着できる。 なお、上記実施例では、リントフィルタをねじ嵌合で回
転ドラムに取り付けたが、この発明は、リントフィルタ
の回転ドラム側への取付けを着脱可能であればどのよう
な手段によってもよい。また、上記実施例では、洗濯水
通路を回転ドラムの後端壁に設けたが、この発明は洗濯
水通路を回転ドラムの前端壁まなは前、後両端壁に設け
てもよい。 【発明の効果】 以上説明したように、この発明によれば、回転ドラムの
周壁に設けた洗濯物出し入れ口を開閉するドラム扉を、
回転ドラムの位置検出をして外槽の上部に設けた洗濯物
出し入れ口と回転ドラムの洗濯物出し入れ口とが対向す
る位置で開閉可能な構造としたドラム式洗濯機において
、回転ドラムの端壁に洗濯水通路を形成し、回転ドラム
の回転によって上記洗濯水通路の一端部に設けた汲み上
げ部から回転ドラムと外槽との間の洗濯水を汲み上げ、
この洗濯水は洗濯水通路を流下させ、その他端部に設け
た流入口を経てリントフィルタに通し回転ドラム内に導
くようにしたので、洗濯水を有効に活用して洗濯品質を
向上させることができ、またリントフィルタを上記端壁

ルタが捕集したリントを目詰まりした場合に、洗濯物出
し入れ口から手を入れてフィルタを容易に脱着でき、メ
ンテナンスが作業性よくできるという効果がある。
