回転可能に組付けた軸受において、前記内輪と外
輪間の大気側には内輪の外周に形成した段部と微
少間隙を介して対向する磁性流体シールを設け、
他方側にはグリースをシールするシールドを設け
たことを特徴とする密封軸受。 (2) 前記磁性流体シールが、軸受の軸方向に沿
つて着磁した環状の磁力源と、該磁力源の内周と
内輪の外周との間に磁気吸着した磁性流体とから
なるものである請求項1に記載の密封軸受。 (3) 前記磁性流体シールが、軸受の軸方向に沿
つて着磁した環状の磁力源と、該磁力源の大気側
の側面に設けたヨークと、該ヨークの内周と内輪
の外周との間に磁気吸着した磁性流体とからなる
