It is necessarily located high above the ground. If the cabin floor is set at a high position in this way, the emergency exit becomes high, and escaping through the emergency exit in an emergency poses a danger, especially for children, the elderly, and women. For this reason, rope ladders and folding ladders have been installed near emergency exits, and bifold ladders have been installed inside the emergency doors (cabin side), and double-decker buses are now required to have escape ladders installed. It became.

れている。 However, the above-mentioned conventional rope ladders and folding ladders that are installed are simply fixed at one end to the vehicle body, and after the crew members and passengers open the emergency door, they can move the rope ladder or folding ladder out of the way. The operation of extending a bifold ladder downward is not a quick or easy operation in an emergency, and the operation of extending a bifold ladder downward is not a quick or easy operation in an emergency. It is extremely dangerous to release or extend a ladder at an emergency exit at such a high position, and there is a possibility that the crew members and passengers performing the work may fall. Regarding the ease of getting in and out of an emergency exit, Japanese Utility Model Application No. 57-142629 discloses an emergency door having a retractable step.

As shown in FIG. 1, a storage chamber 2 with open sides is formed at the bottom of the emergency exit. It's covered. 3 in the figure is an escape device stored in the storage chamber 2, and the escape device 3 has six steps 40, 4.
1, 42, 43, 44, 45; a pair of arms 5, 5' pivotally attached to the bottom surface of the storage chamber with an interval equal to or larger than the step width in the vehicle length direction; It consists of a push rod 6 spanning a pair of arms 5, 5', and a base 7 provided at the topmost step 40 of the folding ladder 4.

consists of a prismatic foothold bar a and a footboard b, and the foothold bars a are connected to each other by a foldable connecting member 9. As shown in FIG. 4, the footboard b is provided at right angles to the connecting member 9 so as to come into contact with the side wall or the rear wheel when the folding ladder 4 is pulled out, and prevents the swinging of the steps. It helps prevent this and gives you a good foothold. Furthermore, the topmost step 40 has the end of the footrest a connected to the end of the compartment floor f side in the upper part of the storage chamber 2 via a chain 8, and the side end of the footboard b (the back side in the stepping direction). A base 7 is fixed to the base 7 at right angles to the footboard b.

It is pivoted to the bottom of the.
Further, as shown in FIG. 5, the free ends 50, 50' of the arms 5, 5' are connected by a stay c, so that the arms 5, 5' move together. Furthermore, the push rod 6 spanned between the arms 5 and 5' is

Arm 5,
5' rotates outward, the push rod 6 pushes the folding ladder 4 outward while pulling up the highest step 40, and when the base 7 tilts, the steps 41, . . . , 45 are guided by the base 7. As it does so, it slides outward. Since the steps 41, . . . , 45 slide down when the base 7 is tilted, they will fall in a parabola at a point away from the side wall and will not damage the outer panel. The force of the sliding steps 41, . . . , 45 causes the connecting member 9 to expand, forming a ladder on the side wall below the emergency exit.

It is easy to release the folding ladder in an emergency because it is released outward while
A ladder can be quickly formed at the bottom of the emergency exit. In addition, at the emergency exit where the emergency door is left open, all you have to do is push the arm with your hand or foot, which eliminates the risk of crew members and passengers falling during the release operation, which has excellent practical effects.
