[Detailed description of the invention] <Industrial application field> The present invention is applied to the fitting of a shunt to the outside of one of the molds, for example, a movable mold, in the mold clamping process (injection process) of a die-casting machine. This invention relates to an improvement in a casting spout bush which forms a runner for guiding molten metal extruded from an injection sleeve into a cavity by inserting the runner and is assembled into the other mold in order to cool and harden the molten metal remaining in the runner.

However, the upper cylindrical wall portion of the bush main body, which is fitted and engaged with the outside of the shunt during mold clamping and forms a runner with grooves formed on the outside of the shunt, does not absorb the molten metal. During injection, the molten metal is heated and thermally expanded by the high heat of the flowing molten metal, and after the injection is completed, it is cooled by the cooling water supplied into the cooling channel. result,
The upper cylindrical wall of the bushing body has a severe degree of metal fatigue, especially when the molten metal expands due to the high heat of the molten metal. The load stress is applied to the upper cylindrical wall of the bushing, causing cracks to form in the cylindrical direction, allowing the cooling water supplied to the cooling channel to enter the mold's pouring port. This has become a major problem in the die casting industry, which aims to increase productivity through continuous casting, as water leakage has an adverse effect on the injection of molten metal, forcing continuous casting to be stopped.

<Means for Solving the Problems> The technical means taken by the present invention to solve the above problems is to provide a lower cylinder of the bushing body which has a cylindrical shape and has cooling channels perforated in the circumferential direction in the cylinder wall. The wall is provided with a slit that opens over the entire length in the cylindrical direction.

<Function> The present invention uses the opening width of the slit cut into the lower cylindrical wall of the bushing body to absorb deformation when the cylindrical wall portion thermally expands due to the high heat (high pressure) of the molten metal. Avoid applying stress due to thermal expansion.

<Example> An example of the present invention will be described based on the drawings.
The bushing body A is attached and set to the injection port of the injection sleeve 2 fixed on the side of the fixed mold 1, nested in the movable mold 3, or facing the flow divider B projected from the same body, so that both molds When the molds 1 and 3 are clamped, the molten metal is inserted and engaged with the outside of the splitter B, and the molten metal is guided to the cavity 5 by the groove 4 formed in the protruding direction on the outside of the upper part of the splitter B. The runner 6 is configured to cool and harden the molten metal in the runner 6 during cooling, and is formed into a solid cylindrical shape with the same length as the protruding height of the branching element B, and has a runner 6 at its axis. Drill a shunt fitting socket A 1 that has approximately the same shape as the protruding shape of the shunt B, and drill a cooling water channel A 2 in the outer cylindrical wall of the shunt fitting socket A 1 except for the lower cylindrical wall part. The slit 7 absorbs the deformation caused by thermal expansion of the upper cylinder wall portion of the bush main body A due to the high heat of the molten metal extruded from the injection sleeve 2 and flowing through the runner 6 during injection. This is to prevent load stress due to thermal expansion from being applied to the cylinder wall, and in particular, the opening form in the wall thickness direction from the outside to the inside of the cylinder wall (the hole surface of the shunt insertion port A1 ) is As shown in the figure, it is possible to form an opening extending between the two, or to form an opening form in which the inner side has a desired thickness and is continuous and opens outward.

In the figure, 8 is a lock pin that connects the slit surfaces 7a of the slit 7 so that the two do not become misaligned, and 9 is a bolt or nut that fixes the slit surfaces 7a so that the space between them does not expand more than necessary. It is.

<Effects of the invention> As described above, the mold spout bushing of the invention has the following advantages:
The bush has a cylindrical shape and has cooling channels perforated in the circumferential direction of the cylindrical wall. The lower cylindrical wall of the bush main body has a slit that opens along the entire length of the cylindrical direction. Therefore, when the upper cylindrical wall portion of the bush main body thermally expands, the deformation is absorbed by the slit, and internal stress due to thermal expansion is not applied to the cylindrical wall portion. Therefore, since cracks can be prevented from forming due to thermal expansion, the life of the bush main body can be extended, and continuous casting can be performed.

依つて、所期の目的を達成し得る。 Thus, the intended purpose can be achieved.
