[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Field of Application of the Invention] The present invention relates to an industrial dust collector, and relates to a device for suppressing the back wind generated when a dust explosion occurs inside the dust collector and preventing damage caused by the back wind. .

Dust can explode if conditions such as its concentration, humidity, and the presence or absence of an ignition source are met. (In particular, aluminum, magnesium, titanium, etc. are dusts that are likely to cause explosions.) Therefore, depending on the conditions, dust explosions can occur even with dust collectors that suck and collect dust. The dust collector that sucks out the dust that can be generated is equipped with a check valve and a release hole to prevent damage from the blast.
As shown in Figure 2, under normal suction conditions, the check valve 2 is lifted upward by the flow of air, but if an explosion occurs inside the dust collector and the air flows backward, as shown in Figure 3. The check valve 2 closes the inlet 5 and prevents the blast wave from flowing back inside the duct 20 and causing damage to the workers.

Further, if an explosion occurs inside the dust collector and the check valve 2 closes, the pressure inside the dust collector becomes extremely high, and the dust collector itself may be decomposed and destroyed depending on the case. In order to prevent this, it is necessary to provide an escape port for the blast, and this is the radiation hole 3. Note that the check valve 2 and the diffusion hole cover 4 need to move smoothly, so the pin 7 must be fixed as shown in Figure 4.
The check valve 2 and the dissipation hole cover 4 are attached to the mounting base 18 through them, and there are retaining pins 9 at both ends.
There is. Further, a gasket 19 is attached to the surface to obtain airtightness. Note that since the inside of the dust collector is normally under negative pressure, the diffusion hole cover 4 is attracted to the dust collector, so that air leakage or the like at the joint between the diffusion hole 3 and the diffusion hole cover 4 is prevented.

However, the initial installation conditions for the dust collector may change. In other words, the suction dust may change. In that case, the system that used to suck in dust that has no possibility of exploding, such as stone dust, may be changed to suck in dust that has the potential to explode, such as aluminum, or vice versa. What used to be inhaling potentially explosive dust may now be replaced by dust that does not have the potential to explode.

The check valve 2 and the discharge hole 3 are as shown in Figs. 2 and 3.
Because they are provided in the main body, if the change is made from something with no possibility of explosion to one with a possibility of explosion, the check valve 2 and the release hole 3 must be newly installed, and the main body is A major remodeling will be required, which will require a lot of cost and effort. In addition, in the latter case, when the dust changes from dust with a possibility of explosion to dust with no possibility of explosion, the check valve 2 and the release hole 3 become unnecessary, but removal is costly and laborious. If left installed, the check valve 2 will act as pipe resistance and reduce the performance of the dust collector, resulting in a loss of performance due to unnecessary components, resulting in uneconomical and wasteful usage.

FIG. 5 shows the air volume-vacuum characteristics with and without the check valve 2. A is the characteristic when the check valve 2 is present, B is the characteristic when the check valve 2 is not present, and the shaded area is the characteristic when the check valve 2 is present.
This is the part where performance is lost due to this.

Conventionally, as in JP-A No. 55-162322, dust-containing air passes through a duct and flows into the suction port 12 and into the integrated frame 14, so that when changing the suction dust at a later date, Also, modifications to prevent explosions will be a major undertaking.

The purpose of this invention is to improve the above-mentioned defects of the conventional technology, and to prevent dust explosions even when changing suction dust.
To provide a device that can be used flexibly, saves the trouble of modification, and can be used as an economical dust collector.

When the electric motor 12 is driven and the fan 11 rotates, suction is started and air is introduced into the box 1 through the duct. As shown in FIG. 4, the check valve 2 is attached with a pin 7 and moves smoothly in the direction A in FIG. and then into the dust collector box 10.
flow inward. The incoming air passes through the filter 13
The dust contained in the air is filtered and collected, and the purified air is discharged from the discharge port 21. During this process, when conditions such as dust concentration and humidity are met and a dust explosion occurs inside the dust collector box 10, a blast wave flows as shown in Fig. 7, so the check valve 2 is lowered and the inlet 5
This prevents the blast from flowing back through the duct 20 and causing damage to workers. Further, the high-pressure air flows out from the diffusion hole 3 to the outside air.

以上が、逆止弁2及び放散孔3の動作である。 The above is the operation of the check valve 2 and the diffusion hole 3.

When the dust collector that was used under such conditions has been changed to a non-explosive type, remove the box 1 from the dust collector box 10 and replace it with the suction port 17 as shown in Figure 9. If this is installed, the dust collector can be used in good condition without any performance loss due to the unnecessary check valve 2 shown in FIG.

On the other hand, if the device that used to suck in non-explosive dust is changed to one that is explosive,
Instead of the suction port 17, a countermeasure can be taken by simply attaching a box 1 equipped with a check valve 2 and a dispersion hole 3 to the dust collector box 10 as shown in FIG.
There is no need for machining a hole for the radiation hole 3 or newly installing a check valve 2 in the valve 0.
