することで一度湯・水の混合比率を調節しておけ
ばその後は使用の度毎に調節しなくとも該切替弁
をもつて止水することにより常に適温の混合水が
吐水できるようになされている。しかしてこのよ
うにシヤワー切替弁に止水機能を兼ね備えている
湯水混合栓は、その止水時に給湯側と給水側との
水圧の差によつて水が給湯配管中に流れ込んだり
或は湯が水道管中に流れ込むのを防止するため給
水栓および給湯栓に夫々逆止弁を備え付ける必要
がある。

た。また浴室ユニツトを例にするとデツキ面下の
メンテナンス用の開口部が狭いために取付工事が
難しいこと、故障したときの交換、修理が行いに
くいという欠点があつた。また、実開昭55−
40246号公報に示されるように、湯水混合栓の混
合管部に逆止弁を設けたものもあつたが、そうす
ると逆止弁の取付キヤツプやバネ調節螺子等が表
面に露出して美感が悪くなると同時に取付キヤツ
プを無用に外す如くのいたずらがなされ易い欠点
があつた。

口の外周に夫々直接螺合して連結し、該短管を前
記デツキに貫通して該短管の外周に形成されたフ
ランジと該短管に螺合した締付ナツトにより該デ
ツキを挾着し、該短管の下端に水道配管と給湯配
管を夫々継ぐようにしたものである。

股状の案内片7を固着し、該案内片7を該流入孔
3の内周面に摺接させることで逆止弁5が該流入
口中を真直に摺動するようになさしめる。8は給
水栓1Rと給湯栓1Lの相対する側面に形成され
互いの流出口を継ぐ水平な混合管部で、該混合管
部8の中央に止水機能を持つた切替弁9,10が
設けられている。即ち、混合管部8の中央部前面
壁にボンネツト11を水密に螺着すると共に、該
ボンネツト中にスピンドル12を貫挿し該スピン
ドル12の外周に形成された螺子溝13をボンネ
ツト11の内周に螺合させ、スピンドル12の外
方突出端にはレバー14をビス15によつて固着
し、他方スピンドル12の内方小径部16に切替
弁9,10を夫々軸方向に進退動自在なるように
串通する。17はスピンドル12の内方端に切替
弁10の抜脱を防ぐため螺止された小ナツト、1
8は切替弁9の軸方向移動を規制するためスピン
ドル12の一部に形成されたフランジ部である。
切替弁9,10は外周面に竹の子状の段部が形成
されこれを金属製の保護管19,20が被い該保
護管19,20の外周段部面に両端を係合させて
コイルバネ21を圧縮状態で介在させている。2

上向に位置させたとき切替弁9は吐出管22と連
通した弁座26をコイルバネ21の弾性によつて
閉塞し、切替弁10はシヤワーホース接続管24
と連通した弁座27を同じくコイルバネ21の弾
性によつて閉塞させている。そしてレバー14を
向つて右方に旋回し、スピンドル12を内方へ進
出させるとフランジ部18が切替弁9を押圧して
弁座26から該切替弁9を離間させるために混合
管部8内にあつた混合水は吐出管22に吐出され
る。一方レバー14を向つて左方に旋回させスピ
ンドル12を外方へ後退させると小ナツト17が
切替弁10を押圧して弁座27から該切替弁10
を離間させるため混合管部8内の混合水はシヤワ
ーホース接続管24の方向に流れシヤワー散水口
(図示せず)からシヤワー状の散水が得られるよ
うに構成されている。

もなくデツキ下の空間利用ができるなど有益な効
果がある。
