In desks used in financial institutions and general offices, a back panel is installed along the back of the desk to hide the eyes, but the height of this back panel is limited due to various reasons such as customer service requirements. It is desirable that the configuration be adjustable.

In the publication, the back panel is configured to be double layered, upper and lower, the upper panel is fitted into the lower panel so as to be movable up and down, and the lower panel has a substantially vertical guide wall and faces the guide wall and tapers downward. A vertically movable cylindrical piece member is provided between the two guide walls, and a vertically movable cylindrical piece member is urged downward by a spring, and a vertically long piece member fixed to the upper panel is provided between the vertical guide wall and the piece member. We are proposing a configuration with guide strips.

According to this prior art, when the upper panel is lowered, its guide strip is pressed against the vertical guide wall and lowered by the downward wedge action of the inclined guide wall in the lower panel and the downwardly biased piece member. On the other hand, when the top panel is pulled upward, the bridge member moves slightly upward to release the wedge action and smoothly pull up the top panel.

節が容易でなかつた。 Furthermore, as a means of locking the upper panel at a desired height position, the frictional force between the inclined guide wall of the lower panel and the bridge member is utilized, but as these members wear out, the frictional force decreases. If the upper panel is lowered, there is a risk that the upper panel may slide down unexpectedly, and the function to stop the upper panel at a predetermined height may not be complete.
Furthermore, the downward movement of the upper panel does not stop until the wedge action between the upper panel and the lower panel is exerted, making it difficult to finely adjust the height position of the upper panel.

In order to solve this problem, the present invention provides a back panel along the back of the desk so that it can move up and down, and a drive shaft that is rotatably driven by the handle operation is supported on the underside of the desk top. The rear panel is configured to move up and down as the shaft rotates, and the drive shaft is fitted into a lock member that is non-rotatably mounted on the desk, and an engaging portion provided on the outer periphery of the drive shaft locks the lock member. The drive shaft or the lock member is configured to be slidable in the axial direction of the drive shaft so as to be engaged with and disengaged from the member, and the drive shaft or the lock member is biased by a spring in the engagement direction, and is driven by pressure from the handle. The shaft or the lock member is configured to slide in the direction in which the engagement between the two is released.

In this configuration, by interlocking and connecting the drive shaft and the rear panel via a connecting means such as a chain or wire, the rear panel can be raised and lowered as the drive shaft rotates. Since the engaging portion provided on the front panel and the non-rotatable locking member are spring-biased to engage each other, under normal conditions, the drive shaft is locked unrotatably and the back panel is stopped without being able to move up or down. On the other hand, when the handle is engaged with the drive shaft and the handle is pressed against the drive shaft or the lock member in the axial direction, the drive shaft or the lock member moves in the disengagement direction against the spring force. The drive shaft is unlocked and can rotate freely.

置に停止することになる。 Therefore, by pressing the handle and rotating the handle while the drive shaft is unlocked, the rear panel can be raised and lowered.
When the pressure with the handle is stopped when the rear panel reaches the desired height position, the drive shaft or locking member slides in the locking direction by the spring force, the drive shaft is locked so that it cannot rotate, and the rear panel remains at that height. It will stop at that position.

You can raise and lower the back panel in a very natural posture without having to take any forced postures, and you can raise and lower the back panel and lock/unlock it with one hand by operating the handle, which is necessary for adjusting the height of the back panel. It has the effect of reducing labor.

Even if the drive shaft is not gripped by hand, the back panel will not fall by itself when the drive shaft is unlocked, and the back panel will not fall and damage the back panel itself or surrounding members.

Both ends of the chain 15 wound between the upper and lower pair of chain sprockets 11 and 14 are connected to the connecting member 16 having an L-shaped cross section and fixed to the inner surface of the back panel 5 via the upper and lower pair of mounting members 17, respectively. As a result, the back panel 5 is configured to move up and down as the drive shaft 7 is rotated using the handle 8.

A lock member 20 configured to be unrotatable in the case 10 is slidably fitted therein, and a spline groove 21 is formed in the inner diameter of the distal end of the lock member 20, so that the lock member 20 is driven. When the drive shaft 7 is moved toward the front of the desk along the axis of the shaft 7, the locking member 20 and the male spline body 18 are fitted to lock the drive shaft 7 so that it cannot rotate, and when the locking member 20 is slid toward the back of the desk 1, The spline fitting is released and the drive shaft 7
is configured to be rotatable.

Furthermore, the handle 8 can be rotated integrally with the drive shaft 7 by fitting a locking pin 8b that passes through the fitting portion of the drive shaft 7 into an engagement groove 7a formed at the end of the drive shaft 7. In this case, the end face of the rotary shaft 8a is brought into contact with the locking member 20, and the rotary shaft 8a is pushed and slid from this abutting state. Reference numeral 23 is a stopper ring for preventing the drive shaft 7 from moving toward the back of the desk.

A pin 27, 28 is attached to each end of b to the cross beam member 12 and the support member 26 fixed to the back panel 5, respectively.
While being pivotally attached, the other ends of each link rod 24a, 24b are slidably attached to guide rails (not shown) fixed to the cross beam member 12 and the support member 26, respectively, via rotating rollers (not shown). By bringing them into contact with each other, the back panel 5 can move up and down along the vertical direction, and both link rods 24a, 24
A tension spring 30 is installed between the rear panel 4 and the rear panel 4 to bias the rear panel 4 upward. Further, at the end of the cross beam member 12, a pressing body 31 is provided which biases the end face of one link rod 24b with a spring 32 when the rear panel 5 is lowered to the lower end. This allows for lifting with light force.

Then, since the drive shaft 7 becomes rotatable, the back panel 5 can be moved up and down freely.
When the pressing by the handle 8 is stopped when the back panel 5 reaches the desired height position, the locking member 20 moves back by the force of the spring 22, the drive shaft 7 is locked so that it cannot rotate, and the back panel 5 also returns to that height position. It will stop at .

Since the rear panel 5 can be raised and lowered and the drive shaft 7 can be locked and unlocked with one hand, the height of the rear panel 5 can be adjusted easily and effortlessly compared to the conventional method of pulling it up by hand. Drive shaft 7
and the rear panel 5 are interlocked and connected via a chain 15, and the drive shaft 7 is reliably locked by spline fitting with the locking member 20, so that the rear panel 5 that has been raised will not accidentally slip down. There is none.

Other means may be used, such as configuring the lock member or the drive shaft to engage and disengage from each other as either the lock member or the drive shaft moves back and forth. Furthermore, in the embodiment, the drive shaft was provided along the left edge of the desk top so as not to interfere with the person sitting at the desk, but the drive shaft may be provided along the right edge of the desk top.
