性、操作性並びに車内インテリアの向上を計るよ
うにしたものが広く用いられている。第1図a,

置の一例を示すもので、これを同図において説明
すると、1はエアコン表示装置、2はエアコン表
示装置1の前面に取付けられ文字、記号等の表示
部3以外の部分に遮光膜4が施された表示板、5
は表示板2に設けられたレバー操作孔、6はレバ
ー操作孔5に摺動自在に挿通されたノブ軸、7は
前記ノブ軸6に導光体レバー8を介して取付けら
れた操作ノブ、9は前記表示板2の背面に配設さ
れた導光板、10は光源、11は前記導光板9、
光源10等を収納するケース本体を示し、前記光
源10から光12を導光板9を介して表示板2に
導き表示部3を照明すると同時に導光体レバー8
に導いて操作ノブ7の表面を照明するようにして
いる。このため、導光体レバー8の先端は操作ノ
ブ7の表面に露呈し、かつフロストまたはシボ加
工等により粗面に形成されることにより光を散乱
反射させ、操作ノブ7の視認性を向上させてい
る。また、導光体レバー8の後端面は斜めに切落
されることにより反射面13を形成している。

記レバー操作孔を可撓性を有する遮光部材によつ
て塞ぎ、この遮光部材は周縁部が全周に亘つて前
記表示板とケース本体により挾持されて前記操作
孔の長手方向に長いスリツトを有し、このスリツ
トより前記ノブ軸を外部に突出させるようにした
ものである。

イルム、フエルト、ゴムシート等によつて形成さ
れて、周縁部が全周に亘り表示板2とケース本体
11により挾持され、中央には前記レバー操作孔
5の長手方向に長く延在するスリツト22が形成
され、このスリツト22からノブ軸6および導光
体レバー8が表示板2の前方に突出されている。
この場合、ノブ軸6と導光体レバー8は第4図に
示すように断面形状が矩形でその両端部が円弧状
をなすことにより遮光部材21との抵抗を軽減
し、摩耗を防止しているが、これに限らず菱形の
断面形状であつてもよい。

レバー操作孔より外部に漏れないように構成した
ので、操作ノブのみを良好に照明でき、ノブの夜
間における視認性を一段と向上させることができ
る。また、構造簡易にして安価で、外観構成も良
好にして操作ノブの操作性を低下させることがな
く、その上遮光部材を表示板とケース本体で挾持
しているので、遮光部材の伸びが少なく、また接
着剤の剥れの心配もなく、耐久性に優れ、良好な
遮光効果が得られるなどその実用的効果は非常に
大である。
