In a conventional meandering tube, both ends of a straight thin tube 1 are inserted into holes drilled in a thick end plate 2 for a spacer, and each thin tube in these holes is expanded to form an inner surface of each hole. A water chamber type in which each capillary tube is brought into close contact with each other, each capillary tube and end plate are brazed 4, and a water chamber 5 is provided on the outside of each end plate (see Fig. 5), or a small tube with a large number of capillary tubes. A U-shaped tube connection method (see Fig. 6) is known in which the tubes are passed through a spacer 6 in which thin tube support holes are drilled in advance at a predetermined pitch, and then adjacent thin tubes are successively connected with a U-shaped tube 7. There is.

However, the above-mentioned method using the end plate 2 that supports each thin tube at a predetermined pitch or the perforated spacer 6 requires assembly at the time of manufacturing the heat exchanger, which is troublesome and has poor assembly efficiency. These require thick parts, are heavy, and are expensive.

Moreover, these known methods cannot be used at all for meandering tubes which are formed in advance by meandering a single continuous thin tube. Particularly in recent years, the above-mentioned method cannot be adopted in products that use thin tubes that are difficult to weld or expand in diameter.

This device consists of two members, an L-shaped cross-section member made of an electrical insulating material and a plate-shaped member, which are of approximately equal length to each other, and one side portion of the L-shaped cross-section member is arranged in the length direction. A large number of meandering pipe support slits are provided at a predetermined pitch in the perpendicular direction from one edge to form a comb-teeth shape, and the tip of each comb-teeth is formed with a hooking part having the same shape on the side. Further, the plate-shaped material is provided with a hooking portion having an equal cross-sectional shape over its entire length, which can be removably engaged with each hooking portion of the tip of each comb tooth of the L-shaped cross-section material. The problem was solved by creating a special meandering tube support spacer for heat exchange.

In order to use the spacer of this invention, an L-shaped cross-section member of the invention is placed at the end of each parallel part of a heat exchange tube made of a meandering pipe, and is positioned perpendicularly to the parallel part, and is placed in each slit. The parallel parts of the meandering pipe are fitted one by one, and the engaging parts of a single plate-shaped material are slid from the end faces of both parts into the respective engaging parts of the comb teeth protruding from each parallel part, and all The single engaging portion of the plate-shaped member is engaged with the engaging portion of the comb teeth to complete the assembly.

As mentioned above, since this device is configured and functions, even if it is pre-formed on the meandering tube for heat exchange, it can be easily attached and removed later as a spacer, and its operation can be done by simply attaching both sections to the same structure. It is only necessary to slide them together in the length direction, and after assembly, the engaging parts of both shapes engage, and each shape does not separate in the direction perpendicular to the length, and each parallel part of the meandering heat exchange tube has an L-shaped cross section. It is located between each comb tooth of the shaped material, and between the other side of the L-shaped shaped material in cross section and the plate shaped material, and each parallel part is supported at a predetermined pitch. By arranging the adjacent spacers so that they are in contact with each other so that the planes containing the exchange tubes are parallel to each other, this spacer can also maintain the distance between these units (second (see figure). In this case, as is known, the ends of each meandering heat exchange tube are connected to a common supply header 41 or discharge header 42, respectively.

Further, when a unit using the spacer of this invention is assembled to form one heat exchanger, it can be formed by supporting the spacer along the machine frame 40, as in the conventional example.

In addition, each of the shapes that make up the spacer of this invention is made of electrically insulating materials such as synthetic resin and ceramics, so even if iron, titanium, aluminum, copper, etc. are used as heat exchange tubes, the parts that come in contact with these materials There is no risk of electrical corrosion occurring in these.
