1噴射口群の噴射口の夫々に対応するように前記
ピツチで配設され且つ前記第1噴射口群の噴射口
と同数備えた第3噴射口群と、該第1の色インク
を噴射する噴射口を前記第2噴射口群の噴射口の
夫々に対応するように前記ピツチで配設され且つ
前記第1噴射口群の噴射口と同数備えた第4噴射
口群と、を備えており、第1噴射口群と第3噴射
口群による第1、第2の色インクの重なり順と、
第2噴射口群と第4噴射口群による第2、第1の
色インクの重なり順と、を上記所定記録幅内にお
いて上記ピツチに応じて互い違いになるように記
録を行うことを特徴とするインクジエツト記録方
法である。

として、a=2/P(すなわち、各ヘツドユニツ
トのずれはa/2=1/P)に設定しておけば所
望の画像密度を得ることができる。また、逆に言
えば各ヘツドユニツト10A,10Bのオリフイ
スのピツチは従来例と同じ画像密度を得ようとす
るならば倍のピツチで構成することが可能なため
ヘツドユニツトの製作は格段に楽になる、という
利点もある。
