紙収容カセツトと、載置用紙の給紙方向に対して

路に送出する給紙ロールと、該給紙ロール周面に
当接するように付勢され用紙の進行を規制して重
送を防止する用紙進行規制部材と、前記給紙通路
を形成すると共に前記給紙通路に対して開閉でき
る給紙ガイドと、給送されてくる用紙を一旦受け
止めた後所定のタイミングで前記用紙を下流側へ
狭持搬送する待機ロール対とを備えた給紙装置に
おいて、 前記給紙ガイドの開放動作に連動して前記待機
ロール対の離隔と、前記底板を押し下げることに
より前記最上紙と前記給紙ロールとの離隔と前記
用紙進行規制部材と前記給紙ロールとの離隔とを
行わせる連動機構を備えたことを特徴とする給紙
