Abstract

PURPOSE:To dispense with a dialing by outputting call information from a network control unit device and inputting it to a digital exchange in response to a trigger signal detected from a signal received from data terminal equipment through a private line. CONSTITUTION:When a call is generated to a caller side data terminal 2, a transmission request RS signal is sent to a subscriber side modem 5, and a carrier CD signal is sent through a private line 4 to an exchange side modem 5'. When the CD signal is detected, the modem 5' sends the CD signal to a network control unit NCU 6. The NCU 6 executes the call to a PBX 8A, reads an incoming destination dial number from a built-in dial memory, and sends it to the PBX 8A. Next, it is connected through PBXs 8A and 8B and a public switching network 13 to a terminal 2' to be called. When the terminal 2' responds, the response is executed to the NCU 6 in a reverse sequence, and a call is started between a DET 2 and the 2'. Thus, the dialing is made unnecessary, a connection is executed in a short time, and a call efficiency is improved.

When communicating between terminals in a switched communication network, it is essential that the calling terminal specify the address of the called terminal. There are several methods for determining such address 1. For example, there is a system in which all or part of the address is registered in advance and the address information is used when making a call. One example is when a data terminal device is connected to an exchange via a dedicated line.

[Prior Art] A conventional method for connecting a calling data terminal device connected to a dedicated line to a specific destination terminal device is to connect a data terminal device (DTE) 2 on the subscriber side and A network control device (NC) is connected to the data circuit terminating equipment (DCE) 3.
LJ) 7 is interposed, and the data line termination device 3 is connected to the exchange side 11 via the dedicated line 4.
Under software control, the network control device 7 of the calling subscriber sends dial information for a specific called terminal set there to the called subscriber connected to the called subscriber, or to the called subscriber via the switched communication network. In-channel transmission is required.

In the above method, the calling subscriber network control device 7 responds to a transmission request from the data terminal device 2 and uses the specific called terminal device dialing information set therein to send a message via the data line termination devices 3, 3. Since the system is designed to transmit incoming data to the terminal device, depending on the transmission speed of the data line terminating device 3, in-channel transmission from the network control device 7 is necessary to receive dial information and have the terminal device successfully receive the dial information. It becomes necessary to change the signal speed of dial information as well. Furthermore, since it is necessary to transfer the dial information to the exchange side, a time loss occurs due to the time required for the transfer, resulting in a decrease in line usage efficiency. In addition, in this conventional system, regarding the transmission path setting for a call, etc., between the data terminal device 2 and the data line terminating device 3 on the subscriber side, and between the data line terminating device 3 and the private branch exchange 8A on the exchange side 11. It is also an essential requirement to provide network control devices 7, 7 as connection mediating means between the network and the network.

After the network control device 6 makes a call to the private branch exchange 8A, it reads the destination terminal dial information from its dial memory 14 and sends it to the private branch exchange 8A via the ink face 30. Then, when a normal call path connection sequence is established between the private branch exchange 8A and the terminating data terminal device 2 via the private branch exchanges 8A, 8B and the public switched network 13, and the terminating data terminal device 2 responds to it,
A response is returned from the incoming data terminal device 2 to the private branch exchange 8A via the public switched network 13 and the private branch exchange 8B (118 in FIG. 4). When the private branch exchange 8A receives this response, a connection completion signal is sent to the network control device 6 (12 in Fig. 4).
0). Upon reception of the connection completion signal, the R3 signal, carrier signal, and CD signal, which had been turned on/off, are turned on (fourth time 122, 124, 126). As a result, a communication path is formed between the data terminal device 2 on the calling subscriber side and the incoming data terminal device 2, and data communication begins (

When the data communication ends, the R3 signal sent from the calling subscriber's data terminal device 2 is turned off, and the subscriber modem 5, which responds to the R3 signal turning off, turns off the carrier signal (the fourth 130.132 in the figure). C that was being sent from modem 5 on the exchange side when the carrier signal was turned off.
The D signal also switches off (134 in Figure 4). In response to this transition of the CD signal to OFF, the network control device 6 sends a disconnection signal to the private branch exchange 8A (136 in FIG. 4).
). That campus traffic 1#! The terminal 8A initiates a normal disconnection sequence for the communication path established with the incoming data terminal 2 (138 in FIG. 4). Response from incoming data terminal device 2 in response (140 in FIG. 4)
When the private branch exchange a8A receives this, it begins processing to release the communication path from there to the originating data terminal device 2. It starts with sending a restoration signal from the private branch exchange 8A to the network control device 6, the network control device 6 turns off the R5 signal in response to the restoration signal, the modem 5 on the exchange side turns off the carrier signal in response to the turning off of the R3 signal, and so on. Then, the subscriber side modem 5 responds to the carrier signal being turned off by causing the CD signal to be turned off, thereby completing the communication path release process (see 144, 146 and 148 in FIG. 4).
