【考案の詳細な説明】 本考案は自動車等の車輛の内燃機関室に適用さ
れる冷却構造に関するものである。

従来、この種の冷却構造としては第1図に示す
ように内燃機関室1のエンジンフード2内側にダ
クト3を取付け、該ダクト3の前端3Aをフロン
トグリル4上縁後方に開口せしめ、後端3Bを内
燃機関室1の所定の位置に開口せしめた構成のも
のが提供されている。なお図において5はフロン
トバンパーである。

前端は斜め下向きないしは真下向きに開口してい
るので第1図矢印に示すように空気の取入れ効率
は極めて悪いものとなつている。

燃機関室の所定の位置に開口する導通ダクトとか
らなり、該取入れダクトの後端は該導通ダクトの
前端と離合自在に接続することを骨子とするもの
である。

本考案を第2図以下に示す一実施例によつて説

入れダクト131と導通ダクト132とからな
り、該取入れダクト131はフロントグリル14
後方にブラケツト14Aを介して取付けられてお
り、前端131Aはフロントグリル14中央部後
方に開口している。一方導通ダクト132はエン
ジンフード12の内側にブラケツト12Aを介し
て取付けられており、後端132Bは内燃機関室
11の所定位置に下向きに開口している。そして
エンジンフード12を閉じた時(第3図実線)取
入れダクト131の後端131Bは導通ダクト1
32の前端132Aと接続し、エンジンフード1
2を開けば(第3図点線)取入れダクト131と
導通ダクト132とは当然開離する。なお取入れ
ダクト131の後端131Bと導通ダクト132
の前端132Aとの接続部分には気密性を付与す

いた時には当然エンジンフード側にあり、内燃機
関室の点検の邪魔にもならない。かくして本考案
の冷却構造は従来のものに比して空気取入れ効率
は格段に向上するものである。
