Abstract

PURPOSE:To connect many transmission lines to a communication processor by executing a polling control part before the data transfer between a communication controller and terminal equipment through a modulator-demodulator providing a branching control part, a command control part and a polling control part. CONSTITUTION:When a branching control part 11 receives an activating signal (ER) generated from a communication controller 1, it is made into a control starting condition, and the part 11 supplies a data signal continuously sent by the communication controller 1 to a command control part 13. The command control part 13 receives the data signal supplied from the communication controller 1, and sets it to a polling control part 14. A terminal control signal is sent from the polling control part 14 through the branching control part 11 to a modulator-demodulator 12. The data signal outputted from the communication controller 1 is sent to the modulator-demodulator 12 while being checked by the polling control part 14.
