Another feature of the present invention is that the water retaining portion 6 is arranged on at least one surface of the scouring mitten. In the embodiment of the mitten according to the present invention shown in FIG. 2, the water retaining portion 6 is made of polyester cotton and is of a non-woven fabric type. Webs of various fibers, non-woven fabrics, woven and knitted fabrics, various sponges, etc. can be used for the water-retaining portion. Among these, non-woven fabrics made of polyester fibers are durable and have good water retention properties, such as soapy water, and there is no fear that the fibers will bunch to one side and lose their shape.Furthermore, they can be easily cleaned by washing with water and drying after use. It has the advantage of being able to dry quickly. In this embodiment, a pile of polyester fibers is arranged on the surface of the water retaining portion 6. Although various woven or knitted fabrics can be used as the surface material 8, those made of polyester fibers woven into loop-like piles or knitted are particularly suitable. When the mittens of the present invention are used for scrubbing, they have the advantage of good water retention of soapy water, gentle texture, easy washing of the body, and easy washing and drying after use.

The other surfaces of the mitten according to the present invention may be constructed in the same manner, but since the other surfaces are not used as a scouring surface, the water retaining portion may not be provided, and even if it is present, it may be thin. Pile with small loops is also suitable for the surface material. The surface material should not be made only of polyester fibers, but should also be made of a blend of polyester and cotton, with a pattern printed on it. This is because it gives the mittens a beautiful look and makes them fun to use. It is desirable to use the same inner material for both surfaces 10. This is because there is no difference in texture and it can be used comfortably. The edge portion 4 is finished with a polyester fiber bias to prevent the edge from fraying.
