A seesaw type switch operating rod is housed in the housing, an OFF operating section and a run operating section are respectively formed on both arms of the switch operating lever, and openings corresponding to the respective operating sections are provided on the surface of the housing, respectively. In the kill switch for a motorcycle, the off operation section can be protruded from the one opening and the run operation section can be protruded from the other opening onto the housing surface, respectively, and the off operation section has a large display area and is viewed from the side. The run operating portions are each formed in a substantially fan shape with a small surface area and approximately L-shaped when viewed from the side, and an electrical contact is provided on the side surface of the arm of the switch operating rod on the side where the off operating portion is formed.
