Typically, a radiator is mounted forward-facing at the front end of the vehicle body in front of the engine. However, the front wheel mudguard is close to the front, the fuel tank is located above, and the engine and engine muffler are located at the rear, so the space is small and it is necessary to install the radiator. In addition, these peripheral components are subject to restrictions.

There is also a cross-flow type that connects through the wire. However, in the normal flow type radiator, the cooling water pipes extend vertically as mentioned above, so by appropriately selecting the shapes of the upper and lower water chambers, it is possible to shift the left and right parts of the radiator back and forth relative to each other. However, in the cross flow type radiator mentioned above,
Since the cooling water pipes extend in the left and right direction, if the shape of the radiator is to be different from the simple rectangular shape as described above, the cooling water pipes must be bent, which poses problems such as troublesome machining. .

As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the core part 2 has a water chamber 2a extending in the vertical direction connected to a large number of horizontally arranged cooling water pipes, and the other end of the cooling water pipes is connected to a water chamber 2a extending in the vertical direction. Connect to the above connector part. Since the left and right sides of the connector part 1 are shifted back and forth, the left and right core parts 2 are in phase with each other. 3
indicates a muffler, and when the muffler 3 is protruding to the front side, the muffler 3 side of the left and right core parts 2 protrudes to the front side, making it easier to attach to the vehicle body. FIGS. 4 and 5 show an embodiment of the present invention, in which the left and right core parts 1 are arranged vertically in phase with each other of the central connector part 1.
This shows an example in which the phases are shifted upward and downward. As shown in FIG. 6, the vertical lengths of the left and right core portions 2 can also be changed. FIGS. 7 and 8 show still another embodiment of the present invention, in which both sides of the central connector part 1 are phased vertically and front to back, and along with this, the left and right core parts 2 but,
It can be placed vertically and in phase with each other.

できる。 Therefore, by arranging the vertically long connector part 1 in the center and connecting the left and right core parts 2 to the left and right sides of the connector part 1, by changing the left and right, top and bottom shapes of the connector part 1, the left and right core parts 2 can be arbitrarily phased up or down or forward or backward. Therefore, the radiator can be mounted in consideration of the mounting conditions of the surrounding parts to which the radiator is mounted so that the surrounding parts are not restricted.

The shape of the connector allows the left and right core parts to be phased front to back and/or up and down, so the left and right core parts of the radiator can be phased by considering the arrangement of parts around the radiator. The radiator can be installed effectively in a narrow space with less impact on surrounding parts. Therefore, in some cases, the front and rear lengths of the vehicle body can be shortened and the vehicle body can be made lightweight.

There is no need to bend the cooling water pipes, and there is also no need for troublesome processing.
