【考案の詳細な説明】 本考案は、エンジンとラジエータと冷却水ポン

御する自体公知のサーモスタツトの取付構造に関
するものである。

ハウジングの合せ面間に、適宜のガスケツトを介
して挾持されるように構成されている。そして上
記取付フランジとハウジングとの間に介装される
ガスケツトは、ハウジング内の加圧された冷却水
を外部に漏洩しないようにするシール機能と、サ
ーモスタツトの流量調整弁としての機能を損なわ
ないように同サーモスタツトをハウジングに対し
て正しい位置に保持するクランプ機能とを具備し
ていなければならない。しかしながら通常のガス
ケツトでは、取付当初にはシール及びクランプ機
能の双方共問題がなくても、時間の経過と共に特
にシール機能が早期に劣化するので、定期的に増
し締めを行なう必要があり、更に比較的短時間で
交換を要することが多い。

ンプ部分の外方に連続して一体成形され上記第2
凹部の対向する上記上下部ハウジングの合わせ面
間に介装されるOリング部分とから構成されてい
ることを特徴とするサーモスタツト取付構造を要
旨とするものである。本考案によれば、実質的に
シール機能のみを負坦し、かつ優れたシール機能
を発揮するOリング部分と、サーモスタツトの取
付フランジをハウジングに対して定置するクラン
プ部分とが別個に分離して形成され、かつ一部品
として一体成形されているので、上述した二つの
機能を長期間に亘り確保し得ると共に構造簡単で
安価なる効果を奏するものである。

グ部分30とを一体的に成形して構成されている
