トに影響していた。この労務負担を軽減するため
に、銀行錠のキーを受付部署で顧客に手渡してし
まう方法も考えられるが、既設の貸金庫の多く
は、客錠の方はすべて鍵違いで組合わされていて
も、銀行錠の方はそれよりも少ない鍵違いで組合
わされた二重錠で銀行錠のキーを顧客に手渡して
しまうと、紛失や複製など安全上の問題が生じる
怖れがあつた。防犯を全うするには、銀行錠をす
べて鍵違いにすればよいが、それではキーの管理
にかえつて混乱を生じ易くなり、担当者の労力を
増すことになる。これらの問題点を解決しようと

受付部署で行なう集中管理システムも開発された
が、新築の場合はともかく、既設の貸金庫の場合
は配線工事等に多大の経費と手間を要するうえ
に、改造工事そのものが難かしいケースも多く、
既に使用中の多数の貸金庫設備への適用は不可能
とされていた。
