BACKGROUND TECHNOLOGY In order to connect or branch terminals of wiring harnesses etc. at once, busbars that communicate between these connectors are installed inside a power distribution box in which a plurality of connectors are arranged. It is possible to connect the connector terminals provided at the terminals of the wiring harness and the connector terminals of various devices to these connectors to complete branching and interconnection at once. It is being said.

When providing a connector terminal in such a power distribution box, there is a method in which the end of the bus bar is formed into a tab shape and exposed on the outside of the box, and an external connector provided with a female terminal is connected to this. If the external connector is the connection terminal of a device such as a relay or fuse, and you are trying to mount these devices directly on the power distribution box, the connection terminal of these devices should be a simple pin or tab shape. It is preferable that the female terminal has a complicated structure and is likely to be large in size. Therefore, in power distribution boxes to which such devices and the like are often directly attached, female terminals are required to be provided within the boxes.

As a known technique for providing a female terminal in a power distribution box, for example, Japanese Utility Model Application No. 56-165369 discloses a technique in which the end of a busbar a is divided with a slit to form a female terminal b, as shown in FIG. However, since the busbars are arranged horizontally, there is a lack of freedom in circuit configuration, the power distribution box tends to be large, and there are disadvantages in that many types of busbars are required.

In addition, in order to increase the degree of freedom in the arrangement of busbars, we adopted a so-called vertical busbar system in which the busbar surfaces are vertical and arranged parallel to each other, and as a technique for providing female terminals on this, for example, No. 130984 discloses a relay terminal as shown in FIG. 5, in which a blade f of a male terminal is held between a busbar c and an elastic tongue e of a relay terminal d.
In addition, as shown in Fig. 6, in Utility Model Application No. 57-155682, a blade j of a male terminal i is connected in a direction perpendicular to the bus bar g by means of a relay terminal h attached to sandwich the bus bar g. Techniques for connection have also been disclosed.

However, in all of these known technologies, connections to devices can only be made between adjacent busbars, which not only leaves a problem with the lack of freedom in circuit configuration, but also requires wide spacing between busbars. Otherwise, it would be impossible to install relay terminals, which would inevitably result in a large power distribution box. Furthermore, the fixation of relay terminals is uncertain, and if the connector is repeatedly connected and disconnected, there is a risk that the connections between the terminals and busbars may become loose, causing accidents such as poor continuity or contact with adjacent busbars. It was hot.

Problems to be Solved The present invention has a terminal structure that does not cause deformation or movement of the installed terminals even if they are repeatedly connected and disconnected in vertical bus bar type power distribution boxes that have a high degree of freedom in circuit configuration and is therefore unlikely to cause failures. The aim is to provide something with the following.

Means for Solving the Problem The object of the present invention as described above is to arrange the vertical busbars in parallel to each other by means of the busbar fixing member provided inside the power distribution box, and to connect the connector terminals from the busbars perpendicularly to the cover. It is equipped with a plate-shaped leg that is pulled out, and after this plate-shaped leg is bent parallel to the cover, it reaches above the terminal support provided in the cover and is bent again so as to be perpendicular to the cover. It is achieved by doing so.

1 is a power distribution box front cover, 2 is a power distribution box back cover, and the inner surface of the back cover 2 is provided with bus bar fixing members 3, 3' and a terminal support base 4.
5 is a vertical bus bar disposed inside the back cover 2;
6 is a terminal, and 7 is a leg of the terminal. Reference numerals 8a, 8b and 8c are sockets for mounting devices such as fuse A, relay B and circuit breaker C, respectively. In addition, 2a is a cover lock that is engaged with the engaging portion 1a around the front cover 1 provided around the back cover 2, 2b is a connector insertion hole, and 9 is a connector. Reference numeral 10 denotes a tab-type terminal provided on a device or the like.

In the power distribution box of the present invention constructed by assembling these members, the terminal leg 7 has one end joined to the busbar 5, and once it stands up, it bends laterally and rises again above the terminal support base 4. A terminal 6 is provided at the opposite end. Therefore, if you try to insert the terminal 10 of a device etc. into such a terminal 6,
Although the terminal 6 is pushed downward, the bent portion of the leg 7 bends to absorb the stress and is supported by the terminal support base 4, so that the terminal does not move any further downward and the bonding of the terminal is completed. Then, the terminal returns to the upper position due to springback, and maintains a high bonding force without causing permanent deformation.

Effects of the invention The power distribution box of the invention has the terminal mounting structure as explained above, and since there is almost no movement of the terminals when attaching or detaching equipment, etc., deformation of the terminal legs or bus bar exceeds the elastic limit. Therefore, even if devices are connected and disconnected many times, failures will not occur. Further, since the arrangement of the busbars and the arrangement of the connector terminals can be freely selected, circuit design is simplified, the busbars can be arranged compactly, and the power distribution box can be downsized.
