Abstract

PURPOSE:To carry out a waste water treatment efficiently by cutting and bagging the hollow module which is taken out of a hollow tube type filter film filter device and contaminated with the radioactive material in order from the bottom without laying it laterally. CONSTITUTION:A turntable type collecting device 4 is fitted with collecting pockets at equal intervals in the circumferential direction and polyethylene bags 6 are put in the pockets respectively. The lower end part of the hollow system module 2 which is suspended from a monorail 1 and held by a holding jig 5 is cut by a cutter 3 first to set length and collected in a bag put in one collecting pocket of the device 4. Then the module 2 is further lowered by necessary length by the motor-driven hoist of the monorail 1 and the device 4 is rotated by one pocket; and a pocket at a next position is cut by the cutter 3 and a cut piece is gathered in the pocket in the next position. This operation is repeated in order and cut module cut pieces are stored in bags 6 in order and disposed.

[Prior art and problems to be solved by the invention] In a hollow fiber tubular filtration membrane filter device that uses a large number of hollow fiber tubular membranes to filter and remove fine solids from industrial wastewater, each hollow Tube-shaped filtration membranes are used by filling them vertically in a filtration tower as hollow fiber modules.
This includes an external pressure type in which liquid is passed from the outside to the inside of the hollow fiber tubular filtration membrane, and an internal pressure type in which liquid is passed from the inside to the outside of the filtration membrane. In this hollow fiber tubular filtration membrane filter device, fine solids in wastewater are removed by the membrane through filtration, and as a result of the removal, filtration resistance occurs and the differential pressure of the filter reaches an upper limit. If the differential pressure has increased, the filter usually stops water flow, is cleaned with water or air, and is reused, but sometimes chemicals are used to dissolve the deposits or clogging substances on the membrane. Chemical cleaning may also be performed.

Reuse by cleaning may be discontinued and the hollow fiber module may be replaced with a new one, or it may be replaced with a new one if its strength has deteriorated and it can no longer be used. As yarn modules are updated, it becomes necessary to dispose of used hollow fiber modules.

In particular, hollow fiber modules used to treat industrial wastewater within nuclear power plants are contaminated with radioactive materials and cannot be disposed of as general industrial waste, but are treated as solid waste that is specially managed within the power plant. The waste is disposed of in a treatment facility.

The hollow fiber module used generally has a thickness of 8011/Ill to 160m/Ill and a length of approximately 1T.
It is of rL~2m. Compared to the size of this hollow fiber module, the waste drum used in nuclear power plants has dimensions of 567°φX830'H (JIS 1
1600 H type), it is not possible to directly put the hollow fiber modules in and store them for disposal, so it is necessary to cut the hollow fiber modules into pieces that can be filled into drums. Furthermore, when incinerating in an incinerator, there are restrictions on the size and weight of the incinerated material due to the capacity and size of the incinerator, and domestic power plants generally have dimensions of 301 or less and weights of 2 to 3! j/pieces. Furthermore, for handling purposes, it is necessary to put the incinerated materials into plastic bags such as polyethylene when putting them into the incinerator.

Hollow fiber modules used in condensate purification equipment at nuclear power plants have a purification capacity of 3,000 to 7,000
Since the size is as large as 00 butts/H, the number of bundles used is large, ranging from several hundred to several thousand bundles. For this reason, it is necessary to safely and reliably cut and dispose of the used hollow fiber modules that are generated as a result of updating the hollow fiber modules, and also to perform the work efficiently since there are a large number of them.

(Means for Solving the Problems) The present invention has been made in accordance with such demands, and includes hollow fiber modules, each of which is a bundle of a large number of hollow fiber tubular filtration membranes, packed vertically into a filtration tower. From an external pressure type or internal pressure type hollow fiber tubular filtration membrane filter device that passes wastewater containing radioactive substances from the outside to the inside of the filtration membrane or from the inside to the outside of the filtration membrane, radioactive After taking out the hollow fiber module contaminated with the substance and cutting it,
In the disposal device, use a cutting device to suspend the hollow fiber module contaminated with radioactive materials taken out from the hollow fiber tubular filtration membrane filter device or its intermediate storage tank vertically, rather than horizontally. The gist is a disposal device for hollow fiber modules contaminated with radioactive materials, which is characterized by sequentially cutting from the bottom and bagging or canning each cut piece individually, thereby achieving the intended purpose. I'll go.

The hollow fiber module disposal device of the present invention safely and reliably takes out hollow fiber modules contaminated with radioactive materials from a hollow fiber tubular filtration membrane filter device (filter), transports them, and cuts them into cut pieces of a desired length. It performs cutting and then collects the cut pieces, and is designed to make these operations efficient. Furthermore, although there are no particular restrictions on the above-mentioned cutting device, if this is carried out using a circular saw, etc., chips will be generated, and it is necessary to take measures to scatter the chips, which are radioactive waste, or to dispose of them. However, if a hydraulic cutter is used as the cutting device, this kind of treatment will be unnecessary and safety will be higher.

Hollow fiber modules are used by packing and arranging them in a bundle in the vertical direction inside the filtration tower, so when removing these hollow fiber modules from the filtration tower, one bundle at a time must be taken out using a crane or an electric hoist such as a monorail. Lift it up and handle it.

Therefore, in the present invention, the hollow fiber module that has been lifted and transported above the cutting device is supported and guided by a hollow fiber module support jig or support metal fittings so that the cutting operation can be started simply by lowering the hollow fiber module using a hoist device. This makes these operations extremely efficient, and when cutting into pieces, the length of the cutting section can be adjusted and moved simply by lowering it using a hoist. At this time, by cooperating the holding and guiding device for the hollow fiber module with the hoist device, the cutting and lowering of the hollow fiber module can be carried out smoothly and sequentially.

The hollow fiber modules cut to a predetermined length are separated into bundles and fall apart as they are cut. A turntable collector equipped with a plurality of collecting pockets collects a large number of these separated cut pieces without scattering them. Most of the cut pieces are hollow fibers, and if they are scattered, handling becomes very complicated. Therefore, it is preferable to cut, drop, and catch the pieces and simultaneously store them in a plastic bag such as a polyethylene bag. For this reason, the collector uses a container-like container that can accommodate the cut pieces, and a polyethylene bag is removably attached to the container. The polyethylene bags containing the cut pieces are sealed at the top, removed from the collector, shipped as solid waste, and transported to an incineration plant.

Cutting - catching one bag, sealing, taking out - loading one bag is a series of operations, but since this series of operations takes several minutes with one collection machine, the hollow fiber module is vertically moved up and down 10 times. It takes several tens of minutes to divide, which is not efficient and has a large impact on other tasks. In addition, if the process is carried out simultaneously with other operations, a place and equipment to protect the hollow fiber membrane filter are required, which is uneconomical.

For this reason, it is preferable to carry out other operations related to hollow fiber membrane filter replacement and cutting and disposal operations at the same time. Therefore, it is necessary to perform the cutting work efficiently and in a short time, and for this purpose, multiple collectors are rotated and used in sequence, and cutting, catching, sealing and taking out one bag, and attaching a plastic bag can be done at the same time. It is preferable to take care to ensure that
