42が揺動して押えころ44が紙受けころ38か
ら離間し、横針装置35が非作動状態となるよう
に構成されている。また、第7図bに示すように
ピン68を浅い孔67へ挿入しながら押すと、短
軸65の先端がころアーム32に届かないので、
ころアーム42の揺動を妨げず横針装置35が作
動状態を続ける。なお、ピン68は、これを孔6
6,67に挿入したときに抜けにくいようにスプ
リングピンであることが望ましい。

カムレバー43に当接させたころアーム42も一
体となつて揺動する。したがつて押えころ44が
紙受けころ38に対して対接したり離間したりす
るように昇降する。そして押えころ44が上昇し
ていて押え板54と上板36bとが開いていると
きに紙55が差板上へ送り込まれてきて押え板5
4と上板36bとの間へ挿入されると同時に押え
ころ44が下降し、紙受けころ38が第3図の反
時計方向へ回動するので、紙55は両方のころ4
4,38に挾持されて第2図の左方へ移動し、端
縁をゲージ56に当接させて見当が揃えられる。
これに先だち紙55は前端を前当てに当接させて
天地方向の見当が揃えられている。そして、次回
に押えころ44が上昇したときに紙55がスイン
グで咥えられて印刷装置へ運び去られるととも
に、次の紙が送り込まれてきて上記の動作を繰返
す。

置35のハンドル64を把持して引張り、浅い孔
67と係合しているピン68を抜いたのち、ハン
ドル64を180°回動させると、ピン68が深い孔
66と対向する。そしてピン68を深い孔66に
挿入してハンドル64をいつぱい押すと、第7図
aに示すように短軸65のテーパ面65aでころ
アーム42の基部を押下げるので、ころアーム4
2が揺動し、押えころ44が紙受けころ38から
離間するように上昇して非作動状態になる。次に
反対側の横針装置35のハンドル64を引張りな
がら回動させてピン68を深い孔66から浅い孔
67に挿し換えてハンドル64を押すと、短軸6

が前記一対のピン孔のいずれかと係合するように
進入させることにより、短軸先端部のテーパ面の
作用でころアームを揺動させて押えころを紙受け
ころから離間させるように構成することにより、
横針装置の作動状態、非作動状態間での切換えを
工具を用いることなくハンドルを把持しての押し
引き、回動だけの動作で容易に短時間で実施でき
るので、作業能率の向上と労力の軽減を計ること
ができるとともに、奥まつた箇所に横針装置を備
えた機種のものにおいても切換作業が容易になり
作業性が向上する。また運転中に切換作業を行な
つても危険でなく安全性が向上する。
