[Prior Art] Generally, sun visors (shading plates) attached to the front of automobiles include those that use a light-shielding plate that completely blocks sunlight, or those that use a translucent plate that is colored blue or the like. Furthermore, a vehicle window has been proposed in which double transparent plates such as glass are provided so that a light-shielding liquid can be introduced and discharged between the transparent plates. (``Automobile window'', Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 56-21915).

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] However, in a sun visor using a light-shielding plate that completely blocks sunlight, the view above and in front is completely blocked. In addition, sun visors or vehicle windows that use semi-transparent plates have a constant light blocking rate or light transmittance, so depending on the brightness outside the vehicle, visibility may become obscured due to light blocking. Put it away.

In view of the above-mentioned circumstances, the present invention was devised to provide a sun visor that can adjust the amount of light transmitted according to the brightness outside the vehicle and that can ensure forward and upward visibility.

[Means for Solving the Problems] The present invention forms two transparent plates having a housing section for housing a translucent fluid between the plates, and a hinge is attached to the lower end of these transparent plates, and a hinge is attached to the upper end of the transparent plates. Elastic members are provided in the housing section to bias the distance between the plates in a direction that reduces the distance between the plates, and a fluid transfer means is provided in the housing section to adjust the amount of fluid contained therein and to open and close the transparent plate. be.

[Function] With the above configuration, when it is very bright outside the vehicle, the fluid transfer means sends the fluid to the storage part to increase the light transmittance of the two transparent plates to prevent glare. The light transmittance decreases toward the bottom of the transparent plate,
Ensure forward visibility. Furthermore, when the brightness decreases, the introduction of fluid is stopped, and the elastic member closes the transparent plate to discharge the fluid and lower the light transmittance.

Further, the switch 34 is an automatic switch for controlling the opening degree of the upper end portions of the transparent plates 1 and 2. That is, the switch 34 is operated even when the switches 23 and 24 are in the ON state, and is a switch for preventing excessive pressure from being applied to the pump 17 or damage to the cover 13 due to opening of the transparent plate 2.
The switch 34 has terminals C, M, and L, and as shown in FIG.
C is provided on the upper part of the transparent plate 2, and the terminal C
A terminal L is provided on the transparent plate 2 and a terminal M is provided on the cover 13 by fixing with rivets so as to sandwich the terminals.

First, to increase the degree of light shielding of the sun visor, press the switch 23 while the main switch 40 is in the ON state. When the switch 23 is turned on, the contacts 2 and 5 are connected, and the coil 26 of the switch 25 is energized, and the contacts 2 and 2 are connected, and the contacts 2 and 2 are connected.
The contacts connected to E and G are also connected, and the motor 22 is operated and the pump 17 is driven. By driving the pump 17, the translucent liquid l in the tank 16 flows into the bag body 3 through the transfer pipe 15. When the translucent liquid 1 flows into the bag 3, the internal pressure of the bag 3 increases, and the upper ends of the transparent plates 1 and 2 open around the hinge 4 in accordance with the amount of inflow. Therefore, the layer thickness of the translucent liquid l inside the bag body 3 increases, the degree of light shielding increases, and the amount of light incident into the vehicle interior decreases.

Next, a case will be described in which the amount of light shielded by the sun visor is reduced. In this case, switch 24 is pressed. When the switch 24 is pressed, contacts J and R are connected, and at the same time contacts N and R are also connected, and the motor 22

Therefore, by operating the pump 17, the translucent liquid 1 flows as shown by the broken line arrow in the figure. That is, the translucent liquid 1 flows out from the bag 3 and flows into the transfer pipe 1.
5, passing through the branch 20, and further electromagnetic valve 19,
The branch pipe 21 passes through the pump 17 and the electromagnetic valve 18.
It is returned to the tank 16 through the transfer pipe 15. When the translucent liquid 1 flows out of the bag 3, the internal pressure of the bag 3 decreases, the transparent plates 1 and 2 move in the closing direction by the leaf spring 7, and the degree of opening becomes smaller. Therefore, bag body 3
The layer thickness of the translucent liquid 1 inside becomes thinner, and the degree of light shielding decreases. Note that even if the switch 24 is turned off, contacts A and C of the switch 25 remain connected.

Therefore, there is no risk that the cover 13 will be damaged due to an excessively large gap between the transparent plates 1 and 2. In addition, if the switch 24 is kept pressed, the transparent plates 1 and 2 will be fully closed, but in this case, the switch 2
Terminals C and L of 3 are connected, and contacts A and B of switch 25 are connected due to the action of the coil 26.
The coils 18a and 19a of the electromagnetic valves 18 and 19 are demagnetized, and the valve body 1 is moved in the direction in which the liquid 1 flows into the bag body 3.
8b and 19b return. Therefore, no abnormal pressure is applied to the pump 17.

In this way, a semi-transparent liquid for sun visor light shielding is used.
The structure allows the layer thickness to be freely changed, and the degree of shading can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the layer thickness.
By changing the degree of light shielding depending on the brightness outside the vehicle, it is possible to appropriately shield light while maintaining upward visibility. Therefore, it can contribute to safe driving of the vehicle.

In addition, a leaf spring 7 is provided at the upper end of the transparent plates 1 and 2, and a hinge 4 is provided at the lower end so that they can be opened and closed by a fluid transfer means, so that a drive mechanism for changing the fluid layer thickness in the sun visor body is provided. There is no need to provide a fluid layer, the structure can be simplified, and the upper part always has a higher degree of light shielding than the lower part, so that even if the fluid layer thickness is increased, the forward view will not be excessively obstructed.
That is, it is extremely practical as a sun visor.
