[Background Art] As shown in FIG. 8, a conventional roofing material connection joint A' includes an upper plate 5 having a T-shaped cross section integrally provided on the surface of a lower plate 2, and a roofing material end that opens laterally. Part fitting groove 6
However, when connecting the roofing materials, it takes time and effort to fit the ends of the roofing materials into the roofing material end fitting grooves 6, which not only results in poor workability, but also reduces the quality of the roofing materials. If the end or upper plate 5 is damaged,
In addition, when manufacturing by extrusion molding, the metal plate 1 is combined with the lower plate 2.
It could only be inserted into the metal, and there were problems with its strength.

The present invention will be described below based on embodiments shown in the accompanying drawings. 2 is a lower plate which is an extrusion molded product;
Resin plates such as polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene, and polypropylene, aluminum plates, stainless steel plates,
It is formed by inserting a metal plate 1 such as a galvanized iron plate or a copper plate. At approximately the center of the surface of the lower plate 2, a locking convex portion 3 having a T-shaped cross section is protruded along the entire length along the eave direction. In addition, on the surface of the lower plate 2, a plurality of soft draining ridges 7 are provided on both sides of the locking projection 3 in parallel with the locking projection 3, and soft waterproof seals are provided at both ends. Part 8 is provided protrudingly. As shown in FIG. 4, the draining ridge 7 is inclined upward toward the center of the lower plate 2, so that the roofing material 11 can be fitted smoothly. Also lower plate 2
A bent part 9 bent into a substantially U-shape is provided on the back side of the eaves side end, and a draining protrusion 10 is provided on the ridge side end with a folded overlapping part on the front side. 5
The upper plate is an extrusion molded product, and like the lower plate 2, it is formed by inserting the metal plate 1 into a resin plate. The surface of the upper plate 5 is slightly curved upward as shown in FIG. 3, and the back surfaces of both ends are formed in an arc shape as shown in FIG. 4, so that the roofing material 11 can be fitted smoothly. That's what I do. Also upper plate 5
A locking recess 4 having a substantially T-shaped cross section is formed in the substantially central portion of the back surface over the entire length in the direction of the eaves. The end of the roofing material has a U-shaped cross section and opens laterally by fitting the locking recess 4 of the upper plate 5 and the locking protrusion 3 of the lower plate 2 to connect the upper plate 5 and the lower plate 2. A fitting groove 6 is formed to constitute a roofing material connection joint A. Note that the locking recess 4 may be formed on the lower plate 2 side, and the locking protrusion 3 may be formed on the upper plate 5 side. Further, these locking protrusions 3 and locking recesses 4 may be provided partially. Next, the connection of the roofing material 11 using this roofing material connection joint A will be explained. As shown in FIG. 6, the roofing material 11 has an engaged portion 12 on the eave side end bent toward the back side in a substantially U-shape, and the ridge side end portion has an engaged portion 12 on the front surface side in a substantially U-shape. Fold the engaging part 1
There are 3. First, the lower plate 2 and the upper plate 5 are disassembled, and the engaging part 13 of the lower roofing material 11 is engaged with the bent part 9 of the lower plate 5. Then, as shown in FIG. The ends of the roofing materials 11 are arranged on the left and right sides of the locking convex portions 3 of the plate 2, and the engaged portions 12 on the eaves side of these roofing materials 11 are engaged with the engaging portions 13 of the lower roofing material 11. At the same time, the upper roof material 11 is attached to the engagement part 13 on the ridge side.
The engaged portions 12 of the two are engaged. Thereafter, by fitting the locking concave portion 4 of the upper plate 5 into the locking convex portion 3 of the lower plate 2, the end of the roofing material 11 is fitted into the roofing material end fitting groove 6 of the joint A. state. In this case, the back surface of the end of the roof material 11 comes into elastic contact with the draining ridge 7 and the waterproof seal 8, and forms a gap with the lower plate 2, thereby preventing rainwater from entering due to capillary action.
Note that the roofing material 1 is attached only to one side of the locking convex portion 2 of the lower plate 2.
The upper plate 5 may be connected to the lower plate 2 with one end disposed, and then the end of the roofing material 11 may be fitted into the roofing material end fitting groove 3.

[Effects of the invention] In the present invention, a locking convex portion or a locking recess is provided on the surface of the lower plate in the direction of the eave, and a locking recess or locking recess is provided on the back side of the upper plate in the direction of the eave. The lower plate and the upper plate are connected through the locking protrusion and the locking recess to form a roofing material end fitting groove that opens laterally. When connecting, disassemble the lower plate and the upper plate, place the end of the roofing material on the side of the lower plate, and then connect the lower plate and the upper plate through the locking convex part and the locking recess. By connecting, the ends of the roofing materials can be connected by fitting them into the grooves for fitting the ends of the roofing materials, making it easy to connect the roofing materials. It is unbreakable, and since metal plates are inserted into the lower and upper plates, the strength can be increased even though it is made of resin, and the lower and upper plates are separate bodies. Therefore, it can be easily manufactured by inserting a metal plate by extrusion molding, for example.
