In cask storage, it is important for safety to cool the casks during storage. There are two ways to cool casks: a forced cooling method using a fan and a natural cooling method, but the forced cooling method is superior from the perspective of construction cost, which allows the storage unit to be made more compact. But on the other hand,
During a power outage, when the power goes out and the emergency diesel generator does not operate, an abnormal situation may occur.
It may lead to a serious accident.

Therefore, the present invention provides a cask storage that solves these problems, and is characterized by the fact that forced cooling is provided in the cask-containing storage from the fan chamber to the outside through the periphery of the cask. A natural ventilation path formed by forming a passage and communicating with the outside of the refrigerator is provided in communication with the forced cooling passage through a communication port, and an opening/closing damper is provided at the communication port to maintain an open posture by gravity biasing. and a damper posture holding device that holds the opening/closing damper in a closed position when energized and releases the restraint on the opening/closing damper during power outage is provided and is connected to the fan in the fan room at the same time as the energization. The configuration allows the cask to be cooled, typically via forced cooling channels. Therefore, the storage main body can be made compact and construction costs can be reduced. On the other hand, when the power goes out and the emergency diesel generator does not operate, and the fan stops operating due to a power outage, the opening/closing damper changes to the open position and is stored via the natural ventilation path and communication path. This allows natural wind to enter the chamber and cool the cask. Therefore, there is no risk of a major accident.

In the above configuration, the state shown by the solid line in FIG. 2 shows the state in which the cask 29 is stored in the cask storage space. In such a state, for example, when storing the cask 39 in the storage space C, the following procedure may be performed. That is, the lower truck 33 shown in solid line in FIG. 2 is moved in the direction of arrow A and brought near the entrance/exit 4. Next, the entrance/exit gate 40 is opened, and the cask mounting table 38 that supports the cask 39 is placed on the jacking device 36 of the upper truck 35. Next, the lower cart 33 is moved in the direction of arrow B and brought to a position facing the storage space C. Next, the jacking device 36 is operated to lift the cask mounting table 38, and the upper cart 35 is moved in the direction of arrow C and placed on the third rail 37. When the cask mounting table 38 has completely entered the cask storage space C, the cask mounting table 38 lifted by the jacking device 24 is lowered. As a result, the cask mounting base 38 is placed on the cask holder 13,
The cask 39 is in a storage state.

Next, in the storage state, the cooling air sent into the forced cooling passage 15 by the fan in the fan chamber 9 enters from each first communication port 19 under the floor 3 of each cask storage space I to N, and each forced ventilation The air is blown up from the mouth 16, passes around the cask 39 through the passage hole of each cask mounting table 38, cools the cask 39, passes between the ceiling wall 20 and the door 42, and further passes through the notch 21, It is dissipated to the outside via the second flow port 23 and the exhaust port 26. Note that during this time, the second communication port 30 is closed by the damper 31.

Next, in the above state, a power outage occurs due to the power being cut off and the emergency diesel generator not working, etc. When the fan operation is stopped, the electromagnetic clutch is also turned off at the same time, and the damper 31 rotates in the direction of arrow F due to its own weight. Then, the second communication port 30 is opened, and air enters each cask storage space I to N from below the outside air cover 29 through the air inlet 28 and the second communication port 30, and passes through the passage hole of each cask mounting table 38. The air passes around the cask 39 to cool the cask 39, and thereafter is radiated to the outside in the same manner as in the case of forced cooling described above.

As described above, according to the cask storage of the present invention, the casks can normally be cooled through the forced cooling passage. Therefore, the storage main body can be made compact and construction costs can be reduced. On the other hand, when the power goes out, the emergency diesel generator doesn't work, and the fan stops.
In conjunction with this, the opening/closing damper assumes an open position, allowing natural wind to enter the storage main body through the natural ventilation path and the communication port, thereby cooling the casks. Therefore, there is no risk of a major accident.
