On the other hand, eyelets are usually metal or plastic rings that are attached to the string holes or other inner edges of the cover; these types include front eyelets,
It has back clasps and hidden latches, and is an important element not only for its tightening function but also for its decorative function when combined with shoelaces.

Incidentally, in most cases, conventional eyelets have been installed by driving, which requires a dedicated driving machine or a special jig. In addition, conventional eyelets are basically used to reinforce the rim of the hole in the eyelet, and the thickness of the eyelet is limited to approximately the thickness of the eyelet. When the string is pulled out through the eyelet between the cover and the tongue of the side flap incision that is in close contact with it, and both ends are tied up, the string is held down between the back of the side flap and the tongue. If the string is tied up with some slack, it will become loose during exercise and must be tightened again. Furthermore, in terms of design, the strings were used either crosswise or parallelly, and the eyelets themselves were not made to stand out on the surface. Although there are some that do not use eyelets and have hooked hooks attached to the cover, they are not common and are limited to special athletic shoes such as mountain climbing boots and ski boots.

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a shoe in which the eyelet is made into a unit, and has improved ease of attachment to the shoe, functionality during use, and decorative effect.

In this case, an eyelet unit having a row of short cylindrical protrusions each having a hole coaxially opened on the surface of the base material is fixed to both side flaps of the shoe by sandwiching the part to be incised, and the eyelet unit is passed through the side flaps. Let each protruding edge protrude toward the surface side,
This shoe is characterized by a shoelace inserted between the holes in the edges of both eyelet units.

FIG. 1 shows the construction of an eyelet unit 1 used in the shoe of the present invention. In the figure, the unit 1 has a plurality of short cylindrical protrusions 3, 3, . . . protruding from the surface of a rectangular base material 2 in a row at regular intervals. Each of the projecting edges 3 has a hole 4 opened coaxially with its axis aligned with the longitudinal direction of the base material 2 . It is convenient if the eyelet unit 1 is integrally molded from a plastic material, but it is not necessarily limited to plastic, and a material with a certain degree of strength is selected and used for the base material 2. The short cylindrical protrusions 3 may be fixed at regular intervals to the center of the upper surface of the base by gluing, sewing, or other means. In this proposal, the meaning of "short cylindrical" is It is not limited to a complete cylinder, but also includes a semicircular cylinder as shown. The hole 4 of the protrusion 3 serves as a shoelace insertion hole, and the distance between the front and rear protrusions 3 and 3 is determined so that when the shoelace is pulled out from the hole, or when the shoelace guided from the opposite side is inserted into the hole. When inserting the cord into the cord, set the distance sufficiently so that it does not interfere with operation or passing the cord. Further, both side edges of the base material 2 serve as mounting seats for shoe covers.

FIG. 2 shows a shoe 5 to which the eyelet unit 1 is attached. That is, the base material 2 of the eyelet unit 1 is sewn between the flaps 7 on both sides of the side flaps 7 and their folded edges, with the side flaps to be incised 6 in between, and the incisions (not shown) made in the side flaps 7 are sewn. ) through the base material 2
Each upper projecting edge 3 is made to protrude from the upper surface of the side flap 7. As a result, the rows of the ridges 3, 3, . It is coaxially opened at the top.

4, insert the shoelaces 8 alternately between the left and right side laces 7,
7 and pull out both ends toward the shoe opening 9 to prepare for tightening the foot when wearing the shoe.

In this case, in order to extend the string 8 between the left and right projecting edges 3, 3 that protrude to the outside of the shoe 5,
A part of it is not trapped between the side flaps and the tongue piece as in the past, so after wearing the shoes, the left and right projecting edges 3, 3
It can be fixed to the foot by tightening the string 8 between them. Further, since the hole 4 of the short cylindrical flange 3 is longer than the conventional eyelet ring, the contact surface is large, and the string passed through the hole is unlikely to loosen during use.

As described above, according to the present invention, the eyelet unit can be attached to the shoe heel using means such as sewing or gluing, and the lace can be tightened without being hindered by the pressure received from the foot inside the shoe. . Further, according to the present invention, the shape and color of the protrusion through which the shoelace is passed can be made visible on the surface of the shoe, thereby producing a unique decorative effect that was not available in the past.
