[Detailed description of the invention] Industrial application field This invention relates to a vehicle lamp, and is particularly compact because it has two directions of illumination and can be used to display both the front and rear directions of the vehicle. This invention relates to a double-sided light emitting type vehicle lamp used as a direction indicator light for a vehicle.

〓Prior art〓 Conventionally, the structure of this kind of double-sided emitting type vehicle lamp is as shown in Fig. 5, in which a light bulb socket 22 is attached to a base 21 made of metal die-casting such as aluminum, and a light bulb 23 is attached. , the light bulb 23
A lens 24 formed in a box shape of resin or the like so as to cover the lamp is screwed on with a lens mounting screw 26, and at this time, the two directions indicated by arrows A and B in the figure are the irradiation directions of this lamp. However, due to reasons such as the direction in which the mold is removed during molding,
Since it is difficult to cut lenses on the surfaces corresponding to the irradiation direction mentioned above in step 4, separately formed inner lenses 25 are attached to each surface by an appropriate method such as gluing to achieve the light distribution specified in the standards. It is something that acquires characteristics.

<Problems to be solved by the invention> However, in the conventional structure described above, it is inevitable that the base 21 in particular has a thick wall.
Even if it were planned to use resin for the purpose of weight reduction or cost reduction, it would result in appearance defects called sink marks, making it impossible to implement, and the shape cannot be formed by anything other than metal die-casting, and for this reason. This type of double-sided light emitting type lamp is heavy and expensive, which poses a major problem in practical use.

〓Means for solving the problems〓 The present invention has the following specific means for solving the problems that occur in the conventional double-sided light emitting type lighting device.
In a double-sided lighting device for a vehicle, which is an integrated lighting device such as the front and rear of a vehicle and is formed so that the light emitting directions are substantially opposite to each other on one side and on the other side, the base of the light device is divided into two parts perpendicular to the irradiation direction, and has a pair of substantially box-like shapes with a thin, uniform wall thickness and a notch, and a light bulb for attaching a light bulb and a light bulb socket to this base. A socket support plate provided with a socket support part and a base mounting boss for fixing the base is fitted in the shape of a partition plate and screwed into one piece, and a lens is fitted into the notch of the base and screwed. By providing a double-sided light-emitting type vehicle lamp characterized by a double-sided structure, it is possible to use resin, and the above-mentioned conventional problems can be solved.

What is designated by the reference numeral 1A in FIG. 1 is a resin base according to the present invention, which is divided into two parts at approximately right angles to the irradiation direction of this type of double-sided light emitting type lamp described in the conventional example. Note that the figure shows only one base 1A to avoid unnecessarily complicating it, but the other base 1B is approximately symmetrical to the illustrated base 1A, and cannot be butted against it. This is used to form the desired shape of the base.

Next, the socket support plate 2 is attached to the bases 1A, 1.
The socket support plate 2 is shaped to fit into the slot 1b of B like a partition plate, and at the same time, the plate-shaped portion of the socket support plate 2 is provided with a hole of an appropriate shape for attaching, for example, a wedge-based light bulb socket. The support portion 2a is provided with a substantially U-shaped lens engagement groove 2c along the edge. At the same time, as shown from the back side in FIG. 2, this socket support plate 2 is provided with appropriate overhangs at positions corresponding to the base mounting holes 1c provided in the bases 1A and 1B, respectively, to form a cylindrical base. Mounting boss 2
b is provided.
