【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 1 上部刃体2と下部刃体3とをその基端側にて
互いに固着して各々に接近離間する方向への弾
性を持たせ、上下両刃体2,3の先端側に形成
した上下両切刃2a,3aの基端側近傍にて両
刃体2,3間に枢着ピン4を挿嵌し、上部刃体
2の外面上において押圧操作てこ5を枢着ピン
4に対し回動可能に軸着して、爪切り本体1と
し、この爪切り本体1に対し前記上下両刃体
2,3間の両側開口を塞ぐ爪飛散防止用ケース
6を取付けた爪切りにおいて、 前記爪飛散防止用ケース6は上下両刃体2,
3間の両側開口を塞ぐ両側板部6bと下部刃体
3の外面を覆う底板部6aを備え、爪切り本体
1に対しその長手方向へ一定範囲の移動可能で
あり、 前記側板部6bには止め部材10が装着され
る位置に挿入孔9を形成し、 その止め部材10には前記挿入孔9に挿入さ
れて側板部6bの内側へ突出される脚部12を
設け、同脚部12とケース6の底板部6aとの
間で下部刃体3を挟持するようにし、 さらに、前記脚部12は両側板部6bが上下
両刃体2,3の両側開口をほぼ塞ぐ移動位置で
前記枢着ピン4に当接して停止するとともに、
上下両刃体2,3の切刃2a,3aの近傍に対
応する両刃体2,3間両側に切爪捨口Sを形成
する移動位置で上下両刃体2,3の内面間に挟
入されて停止するようにしたことを特徴とする
