Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable an upward directed air flow having a small eddy current to be realized within an entire room by a method wherein an air blowing port for use in blowing air in a radial direction and under a distribution of equal speed from a horizontal direction toward a vertical direction is arranged over two opposing circumferences or an entire circumference of a corner where a wall and a floor are contacted to each other and then a suction port is arranged at a ceiling surface. CONSTITUTION:In a room where a closed state is normally applied, a blowing port 1 for blowing in a substantial radial direction and in a substantial equal speed distribution from a substantial horizontal direction toward its substantial vertical direction at two opposing circumferences or an entire circumference of a corner where a wall 6 and a floor 4 are contacted each other. A suction port 3 is arranged at a substantial central part 5 of a ceiling. The air blowing port 1 and the suction port 3 are connected by ducts 15 and 16 and the air is circulated. A filter 17 for use in collecting contaminated substances such as smoke of tobacco as well as a fan 8 are provided in a duct 16. With such an arrangement, it is possible to realize an upward directed small air flow distribution in an entire room and thus to prevent an eddy region or stayed region in the air flow.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the air cleaning system of the present invention provides an air cleaning system with a substantially constant velocity in a substantially radial direction from a substantially horizontal direction to a substantially vertical direction on two opposing sides or the entire circumference of a corner where a wall and a floor meet. Equipped with an outlet that blows out air in a distributed manner,
It consists of a suction port placed on the ceiling surface.

The air cleaning system configured as described above has air outlets that blow out air in a substantially radial direction and with a substantially uniform velocity distribution on two opposing sides or on the entire circumference of the corner where the wall and floor meet. It is possible to distribute the blowing airflow with less entrainment. By arranging the inlet in the center of the ceiling, an upward airflow distribution with small vortices can be achieved throughout the room.
