ができるようにした自動調整ソケツトレンチに関

ミリメートル(mm)で表記された2種類のボル
ト、ナツトに対する寸法の混同を生じ、使用する
寸法の大きさを一度に探して使用することは熟練
工でないと決して容易ではなく、また使用中に喪
失することもあつた。さらにモンキースパナの場
合も同じく作業する時ごとに嵌込んだり抜いたり
という行為を繰り返さなければならないため、時
間の消耗が多い等の欠点があつた。また従来のも
のにあつては、一般的には扁平的に形成されてい
るため、深さの存在する場所では使用が不可能で
あつた。もつとも一定の長さを有する筒状のレン
チも存在するが、これによればこのレンチはサイ
ズ別に複数形成されており、ボルトやナツトのサ
イズに合せて使い分けなければならない等の不便

挿入するとともに、前記作動体4に長孔5を形成
し、この長孔5内に中央部分にチエーン状テープ
6用のギヤ7を有しており、その両側にギヤの向
きが逆向きとなつている二つのウオームギヤを対
向させて設けたダブルウオーム8を有しているウ
オーム管10aを、それぞれのウオームギヤが前
記ラツク1,1′と噛合するように、多数の孔6
aを穿設したチエーン状テープ6を前記ギヤ7に
嵌合せしめた状態で配設し、保護キヤツプ12を
作動体4と固定させて、パイプ型の挿入管15の
下端を保護キヤツプ12に接続し、チエーン状テ
ープ6を挿入管15内に通し、チエーン状テープ
6の一端に連結したフツク14は、挿入管15の
軸方向の外周面に設けた長孔16を摺動するよう
に配設した作動レバー17と固定させるととも
に、チエーン状テープ6の他端をスプリング19
を介して挿入管の上端に設けた固定六角部18の
フツク部18aに連結し、作動レバー17を長孔
16内を摺動させるようにして引つ張ると、作動
レバー17に固定されているフツク14も作動レ
バー17と同様に動き、従つてチエーン状テープ
6も引つ張られギヤ7が回転し、ダブルウオーム
8が回転してそれぞれのウオームギヤと嵌合して
いるラツク1とラツク1′はそれぞれ逆方向に移
動し、左側結合部2と右側結合部2′の間隔が開
き、作動レバー17を離すと、スプリング19の
力によりギヤ7が逆方向に回転し、従つて左側結

面に設けた長孔16を摺動するように配設した作

規格のソケツトを工具箱に備え付けておく必要が
無いのみならず、紛失するおそれもなく、しかも
短時間でボルト、ナツトを締結又は解体すること
ができ、使用が簡便で作業時間も短縮することが
できるのみならず、深い部分に存在するボルトや
ナツトを締めつけたり緩めたりする際に使用する
