側にオープナー4を設け、苗植付器3をオープナ
ー4の後部解放部内で回転するようにしている。
苗植付器3は一対のゴムその他の弾性円板で作
られ、上部は適宜の手段により唇状に開口し、そ
れの機体1の進行方向側部は円周に沿い設けた多
数のガイドロール5によつて外側から押圧して閉
じるようにしてある。
鎮圧駆動輪2の円心にはそれとともに回転する
軸6を設け、かつ該軸6に固定した鎖車7と苗植
付器3の円心に設けた軸8上の鎖車9との間にチ
エン10を張設し、互いに同一方向に回転するよ
うにしている。
また、軸8上には傘歯車11を設け、これと噛
み合う傘歯車12の軸を駆動軸13となし、機体
1の進行方向に伸長して端部に鎖車14,15を
固定し苗植付器3へ紙筒苗Pを供給する各部を駆
動する。
紙筒苗Pの供給は、前記駆動軸13の直角方向
すなわち機体1の進行方向に直交する方向に走行
するようにして設けた苗供給コンベア16とその
搬送端部に対向し下方に伸長する後記苗転送コン
ベア17で行う。
苗供給コンベア16は通常平ベルトまたは紐ベ
ルトで構成され、紙筒苗Pを列状に並べて機体1
の進行方向に直交する方向に搬送する。
苗供給コンベア16の搬送端部上方にはスポン
ジ付きの苗押えローラ18を設け、その軸19に
鎖車20を固定し前記駆動軸13の鎖車14とチ
エン21で連動させ、さらに上記軸19上には歯
車22を固定し、それを苗供給コンベア16の軸
23上に設けた伝動歯車24と噛み合せて互いに
反対方向に同速度で回転するようにしてある。
このため、苗供給コンベア16上の紙筒苗P
は、それと同速度で回転する苗押えローラ18と
の間で押えられた後前方に繰り出し送出される。
繰り出さし送出された紙筒苗Pは、その送出端部
前方に上端部を位置させた苗転送コンベア17の
突起25により1本1本に分離される。
一方、苗転送コンベア17は、下方に駆動プリ
ー26、上方及び中間に従動ブーリー27,28
(その軸を27′,28′とする)を設けていて、
これらの間を回動走行するが、従動プーリー28
と駆動プーリー26の間に位置する送出下端部分
を垂直な縦設状態にしてあるとともに、それより
上方の部分を斜設状態とし、その上端部を上記の
ように苗供給コンベア16の送出端部の前方に位
置させているものである。
また、この苗転送コンベア17は苗供給コンベ
ア16より5〜20倍速く走行し、その表面の突起
25の先端速度が苗植付器3の周速とほぼ同一に
なるように設定してある。
そのため、中間軸29の小鎖車30と前記鎖車
15との間にチエン31を張架するとともに、中
間軸29の大鎖車32と駆動プーリー26の軸3
3の鎖車34との間にチエン35を張設して、該
駆動プーリー26の回転を速くするようにしてあ
る。
苗転送コンベア17は、その幅員を紙筒苗Pの
長さより狭くしてあり、紙筒苗Pの頭部を突出し
た状態で受け取るが、該苗転送コンベア17の表
面には上記突起25が列状または点列状に設けて
あり、その突起25は、ゴムまたはこれに類似し
た弾力のある物質で作られているので、苗供給コ
ンベア16より繰り出された紙筒苗Pに接すると
適宜変形することができる。
後続の紙筒苗Pと分離して突起25と25との
間に入り挟持状態とはなるが、上記斜設状態であ
るにより紙筒苗Pは機体1の振動等により落下し
易いので、苗転送コンベア17の斜設状態の上方
部分には左右一対の苗ガイド36を搬送路上面に
おいて対向位置させ、それを機体1に固定したブ
ラケツト37により支持する。
苗ガイド36の下部端は下方に向けて湾曲し紙
筒苗Pの脱落を防止している。この苗ガイド36
は線体または細幅の板体とし、可及的に摩擦抵抗
を少なくするのがよい。
また、苗ガイド36の下方には左右一対の挟圧
部材38を、遊動プーリー28と駆動プーリー2
6の間の垂直縦設状態の搬送路に沿わせて設けて
ある。この挟圧部材38は通常は板ばねのような
弾発材料で作られており、一端をブラケツト39
に固定し他端を苗植付器3の開口部たる苗受入部
対向位置まで伸長し、紙筒苗Pを苗転送コンベア
17の垂直縦設部の間に挟圧して正常な姿勢のま
ま確実に苗植付器3に供給できるようにしてある
ものである。
40はギヤーケース、41は紙筒苗Pを一時貯
留するための苗台である。
苗植付器3に供給された紙筒苗Pは、外側より
ガイドロール5によつて閉じられ挟持されて下方
に搬送されて、オープナー4によつて作られた溝
内に放出され、鎮圧駆動輪2により鎮圧されて植
え付けられるものである。
なお、特に畝幅の狭い植付のための多畝化用移
植機に搭載する場合には、第3図に示すように、
苗供給コンベア16の搬送中間部分に遊動ローラ
42を設けて、該苗供給コンベア16の送出端側
の傾斜角度を急にし、できるだけ苗転送コンベア
17と直角に対向できるようにするとよいもの
で、こうすると、苗転送コンベア17の上方部分
の傾斜角度を60度以上にしても紙筒苗Pを正確に
搬送し、かつ苗植付器3に正常な姿勢で確実に供
給できる。

特に従来のように苗植付器への紙筒苗の転送供
給するのに左右一対の挟持ベルトを張設する必要
がないので、構成が簡単であるとともに経済的で
