Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the preparation of a scratchable printed matter possible using only a single printing device by coating offset-printed material containing information with an ultraviolet-curable ink using an offset printing technique, then forming a concealing film on the coat using the same technique after curing. CONSTITUTION:Information 10 is printed on paper P using an ordinary offset printing technique, then the entire area where information 10, 10... is printed, is coated with slightly tinted clear ink using the same technique. The clear ink is curable by ultraviolet ray and the vehicle is composed of prepolymer, monomer and sensitizer. In addition, 3 to 8wt.% of slip agent consisting of silicon resin fat is added, and a coated layer 20 is irradiated with ultraviolet ray for curing immediately after printing the layer 20. If the coated layer 20 has become cured completely, a concealing film 22 is likewise printed using the offset printing technique so that the contents of the information 10, 10... become invisible. Thus, all the scratchable printed matter can be printed using the offset printing technique and also the mass printing can be carried out at a low cost.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION [Industrial Application Field] The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a scratchable printed matter, and more particularly to a manufacturing method that makes it possible to manufacture this type of printed matter only by offset printing.

[Prior Art] Scratchable printed matter is used for speed lottery games, games, etc., and as illustrated in Fig.
Information 10 such as letters, symbols, or figures such as "missing" is hidden with a film 12 of opaque printing ink, and this concealing film 12 is scraped off (scratched) with a coin or the like to determine "hit".
This is a printed document that allows you to check for errors such as "misalignment."

In the conventional printed matter of this type, as shown in FIG. 2, various information 10 is printed on paper P, and a transparent varnish containing a slip agent is applied on the information 10 to make it easier to scrape off the concealing film 12. It is covered with a layer 14, and a masking film 12 is formed thereon. Conventionally, to form such printed matter, the information 10 is printed on the paper P by offset printing (lithographic printing), and the transparent varnish coating layer 14 and the hiding film 12 are formed by screen printing or gravure printing. . The information 10 is printed by offset printing because it is desirable to form it as thin as possible, and screen printing or gravure printing, where the ink layer thickness is 5 to 10 times that of offset printing, is not preferable. Moreover, the reason why the covering layer 14 is formed by screen printing or gravure printing is that this layer contains a slip agent, and if it is performed by offset printing, the ink layer is thin, so the slip agent creates unevenness, which can be hidden. This is because the engagement with the film 12 increases, making it difficult to scrape off the concealing film 12.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] Therefore, the above-mentioned conventional method requires the use of two types of printing methods, is unsuitable for mass production, has restrictions on the type of printing format, is expensive to print, and is difficult to print. There are various problems that lead to increased costs, such as the need to move between different printing devices.

[Function] In the method of the present invention, the transparent or translucent coating layer is printed using ultraviolet curable ink, and this is cured by ultraviolet irradiation, so the time from printing to curing is short. Therefore, the ink does not penetrate into the paper layer, and even though the layer is thin due to offset printing, it can sufficiently cover the raised areas where information such as letters, symbols, figures, etc. are printed, and it is also possible to scrape off the hiding film. There is no problem in that the slip agent incorporated into the coating layer to facilitate the removal of the masking film comes out and obstructs the removal of the hiding film.

In offset printing, the amount of ink that adheres to the paper changes slightly depending on temperature, viscosity, etc., so it is necessary to adjust the amount of ink visually during printing, but with transparent ink, the thickness can be checked visually. I can't. The method of the present invention solves this problem by coloring the transparent coating layer. That is, since the shade of color changes as the thickness of the coating layer changes, the change can be visually confirmed by comparing the color of the coating layer with the reference color during printing.

The concealing film 22 is also printed using offset printing so that the contents of the disc are completely visible. The concealing film 22 is strong enough that it will not be scratched by slight friction and can be scraped off with a fingernail or a coiled iron. It is desirable that the pigment has the following properties, and generally contains a large amount of silver or black pigment in order to enhance the hiding effect.

[Effects of the Invention] As explained above, in the manufacturing method of the present invention, the coating layer interposed between the information and the hiding film is printed using ultraviolet curable ink and cured in a short time by ultraviolet irradiation. Even if the layer is formed in a thin layer state by offset printing, no problems occur in use, and in the end, all printing can be done only by offset printing, and scratchable printed matter can be provided in large quantities at low cost. becomes possible.
