[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Industrial Application Field] The present invention relates to an improved small two-color illuminated switch, and more specifically to a switch that operates a movable handle equipped with an illuminating body. In a type of switch that opens and closes contacts and an illumination circuit, when operating the converter for opening and closing the main contact provided at the end of the movable handle, it has two lead wires and converts the conductivity to two colors. It is possible to alternately illuminate the light emitter in two colors by using a single light emitter that can provide 200% of illumination, and moreover, the lead wires, contacts, and fixed contact pieces for the illumination circuit can be placed within the allowable space of the switch housing. Improved two-color illumination that is rationally arranged in the switch housing, makes extremely effective use of the limited space inside the switch housing, and makes the entire switch equipped with the illumination circuit smaller and simpler. This relates to small type switches.

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a two-color illuminated small switch that overcomes the above-mentioned drawbacks, and which converts the conducting polarity when operating the main contact opening/closing converter provided at the end of the movable handle. This makes it possible to alternately illuminate the light emitter in two colors using only two lead wires using a single light emitter, which can provide two-color illumination. Improvements in which the fixed contact piece and fixed contact piece are arranged rationally within the allowable space of the switch housing, the limited volume within the switch housing is utilized extremely effectively, and the entire switch is made smaller and simpler. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a two-color illuminated small switch.

Another purpose of the present invention is that it is not only economically advantageous since it does not require a separate contact point for converting the polarity of the illumination emitter, but also makes wiring from an external power source to the switch terminal complicated. The diameter of the hollow part of the movable handle is extremely simple, and by using a light emitting body with two lead wires as a light emitting body, compared to, for example, a light emitting body using three or more lead wires, the diameter of the hollow part of the movable handle can be reduced. An object of the present invention is to provide a two-color illumination type small switch which can be made smaller and the handle itself can be made thinner accordingly, which makes it easier to downsize the switch.

Three fixed contact pieces 16, 17, 18 of similar shape are attached along the inner wall surface of the housing 1 so that the contacts 15b, 15c selectively come into contact with each other. As shown in Figure 4,
For example, the fixed contact piece 16 is formed into a structure as shown in the figure, including a vertical piece 16a, a horizontal piece 16b, and a rectangular hole 16c. A light emitter fixed terminal 19 having a shape substantially similar to the terminal 12 is inserted into the rectangular hole 16c from above, and the fixed terminal 19 penetrates the bottom wall of the housing 1 and is fixed thereto. Fixed terminals 20 and 21 are respectively inserted into the other fixed contact pieces 17 and 18 from above in the same manner as described above, and these fixed terminals 20 and 21 pass through the bottom wall of the housing 1 and are fixed thereto. Thus, the fixed contact piece 16
is attached to the fixed terminal 19, and the fixed contact piece 17 is attached to the fixed terminal 20.
In addition, the fixed contact pieces 18 are connected to the fixed terminals 21, respectively. In this embodiment, the contacts 15c and 15c are arranged so that the polarity of the light-emitting body 6 is changed at the left and right tilted positions of the movable handle 4.
The arrangement of the fixed contact pieces 16, 17, and 18 is selected. That is, when the movable handle 4 is tilted to the right as shown in FIG.
However, the other contact 15c and the central fixed contact piece 17
When the movable handle 4 is tilted to the left, the contact 15b and the fixed contact piece 17 in the center are brought into sliding contact, and the other contact 15c and the fixed contact piece 18 are brought into sliding contact with each other. Contact 1 to make sliding contact, respectively.
5 and the fixed contact pieces 16, 17, 18 are selected. Therefore, it becomes possible to change the conducting polarity of the light emitter 6 by operating the handle 4. That is, the contacts 15c, 15c and the fixed contact pieces 16, 17, 18
This constitutes a conversion switch capable of converting the polarity of the light-emitting element 6 between forward and reverse directions by tilting the handle 4.

By tilting the handle 4 and changing the conductivity of the two-color light emitting body having two lead wires as shown in FIG. Illumination can be easily obtained. That is, as shown in FIG. 6, when a current flows through the light emitter in the F1 direction, it becomes illuminated in red, for example, and
When a current flows in the F2 direction, illumination of colors other than red, such as green, is achieved, resulting in two-color illumination depending on the tilted state of the handle. Reference numeral 40 represents a power source, and reference numeral 50 represents a resistor that controls the current flowing through the light emitter.

The present invention is constructed as described above and operates as described above, using one light emitting body that can obtain two-color illumination by changing the conductivity.
This makes it possible to alternately illuminate the light emitter in two colors using only two lead wires, and the diameter of the hollow part of the movable handle can be reduced compared to, for example, a light emitter with three or more lead wires. The switch can be made smaller, and the handle itself can also be made smaller, making it easier to downsize the switch. In addition, the lead wires, contacts, and fixed contact pieces for the lighting circuit are arranged rationally within the allowable space of the switch housing, making the limited space inside the switch housing extremely effective, and reducing the overall size of the switch. It also contributes to the formation of cylindrical elements, does not require separate contacts for opening and closing the light emitter, and is extremely advantageous economically.
