Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the capacity of a return memory by returning received image data at every page from a reception side to a transmission side. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 1 to perform a return operation and a various kinds of control, a ROM 2 to store the control program of the CPU 1, the return memory 4 to store reception image data of one page at a maximum for the return operation, and a communication control part 9 to perform the transmission/reception of image data on a communication channel 10 are provided. When the image data is received, it is stored in the return memory 4, and is returned at every page to the transmission side. Thereby, it is possible to return reception data without necessitating a memory large in capacity even when a large amount of data are received.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION [Field of Industrial Application] The present invention relates to a facsimile device having a function of transmitting received image data back from a receiving side to a sending side. [Prior Art] Conventionally, facsimile devices have been known that have a function of sending received image data back from the receiving side to the sending side.
After receiving all images, this facsimile machine
The method used was to send the data all at once back to the sender. [The problem that the invention tries to solve! However, in the conventional example, since all data is sent back after receiving it,
It had the disadvantage of requiring a large amount of memory when receiving a large amount of data, that is, data with a large number of original pages. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide a facsimile device that can send back received data without requiring a large capacity memory even when a large amount of data is received. [Sendan J that solves the problem The present invention is characterized in that received data is returned page by page. [Operation] According to the present invention, by sending the received data back to the sending side page by page, it is possible to send back any number of originals using the memory capacity for one page. [Embodiment] ml diagram J* is a block diagram showing an embodiment of the present invention. This facsimile device has a function of sending the received image data back to the sending side, and includes a CPU that performs this return operation and various other controls, a ROM 2 that stores a control program for this CPU, and a ROM 2 that stores various data. a RAM 3; a return memory (RAM) 4 for storing up to one page of received image data for the return operation;
A reading unit 5 that reads the transmitted original, a recording unit 6 that outputs received image data on recording paper, an operation unit 7 that performs various inputs, and a data processing unit that performs encoding/decoding and modulation/demodulation of image data. It has a processing section 8 and a communication control section 9 that sends and receives image data to and from a communication line 10. FIGS. 2 and 3 are flowcharts showing operations on the transmitting side and receiving side in this embodiment. The sending side first dials the destination (si
). Once the call is set (S2), the system waits for the return key to be input (S3). If the return key is not input even after waiting for 5 seconds (S
4). The mode is set to normal, so an image is read from the original, encoded, and transmitted (S5). On the other hand, if the return key is input within 5 seconds, the return mode is entered, and one page of images is read, encoded, and transmitted (S6). After the transmission is completed, a return request is sent using the non-standard procedure in CCITT recommendation T30 (S7). Receive the returned image data (S8). Repeat steps S6 to S9 above until you reach the final manuscript.
When the final manuscript is reached, the sending process is completed (39). On the other hand, on the receiving side, there is a call first (S 1
0). After the call is set up (S l 1). Receive image data (S12). Output on recording paper (S
l3). Note that when image data is received, the image data is stored in the return memory 4. After that, if there is no return request using the non-standard procedure in CCITT Recommendation T30 (Sl 4). Terminate the process. Conversely, if there is a return request, the contents of the return memory 4 are returned to the sending side (S15). Here, if it is the final manuscript (S 1 6). The process ends, and if not, returns to S12 and repeats the operation. In the above embodiment, a case has been described in which a return request is made using the non-standard procedure of CCITT Recommendation T30, but other methods are also possible. For example, as shown in Figures 4 and 5. This method uses DTMF. In this method, on the transmitting side, as shown in FIG.
First dial (S l 7) and once the call is set up (
S 1 8), Wait for return key input (519), 5
If the return key is not input even after waiting for seconds (320),
The mode becomes normal mode, and the image is read, encoded, and transmitted (521). Against this. , 319, if the return key is input within 5 seconds, the return mode will be activated and the return D
Send a TMF signal (S22). After that, one page of images is read, encoded, and transmitted (S23). After the transmission is completed, the returned image data is received (S24
). Repeat steps 523 to S24 until the final manuscript is reached, and then end the process (325).
.. On the other hand, on the receiving side, as shown in FIG. 5, there is a call first (S26). After the call is set up (S27)
.. Whether there is a returned DTMF signal (S28). Wait 5 seconds (329). If it is not possible to wait for 5 seconds, the mode returns to normal mode and image data is received (330). Output on recording paper (531). Terminate the process. Conversely, if a return DTMF signal is detected within 5 seconds, the return mode is entered and image data is first received (332). The image data is stored in the return memory (S33). Output on recording paper (S34). After that, the contents of the return memory 4 are returned (S35), and the above 532
The operations from S35 to S35 are repeated, and when the best manuscript is reached, the process is terminated (S36).
