本考案は、車両用エンジンの溶接によつて組立
てる排気マニホルドにおけるヘツド側フランジに

組立式の排気マニホルドは、例えば特開昭61−

曲げ加工して作り、排気集合室は板材を絞り加工
して作られるが、シリンダヘツドに連結するため
のフランジには、熱歪に耐えてシリンダヘツドの
取付面との間の気密が維持できるように、剛性の
高い鍛造品が用いられていた。フランジとして
は、このほかに厚手の板材からフランジ板を打抜
き、これに排気管接続穴を打抜いたものも知られ
