Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable displaying of a real-time radar video on one screen in a group of radars by a method wherein a scan system of a radar video signal is converted to be written into a memory and based on position information, the scan system is read to be synthesized. CONSTITUTION:Video signals from radars #1 and #2 are digitized with A/D converters 10 and 20 and angle information of a polar coordinate system is converted to a rectangular coordinate with coordinate converters 12 and 22 to be written into memories 11 and 21. Then, a reading control circuit 14 generates a desired reading address with respect to the memories 11 and 21 based on radar position information to be transmitted from the radars #1 and #2, video data read from the memories 11 and 21 are converted into analog signals with D/A converters 13 and 23 and synthesized with a synthesization circuit 15 to be shown on a screen of a display device 16. This enables determining and monitoring of a wide range of coverage in a group of radars containing fixed and mobile stations in real time at a pivotal sector of a network.

Description

国に散在配置されているが、従来では、各固定レーダ局
からその覆域内で検出された目標物等の情報を中央に送
信し、それらを中央で合成表示することが行われている
.そして、近年、このような目環物等の合成表示のみで
は、集中監視情報としては不十分であり、各固定レーダ
局の覆域全体の情報、即ちレーダビデオを合成表示すべ
しとの要請が高まって来ている。

のレーダビデオも同時に合成表示できれば、集中監視の
実効が図れ非常に好都合である. 本発明は、このような問題に鑑みなされたもので、その
目的は、固定レーダ局と移動体レーダ局含含めたレーダ
装置群のリアルタイムなレーダビデオを1つの表示画面
に表示できるマルチレーダビデオ合成表示装置を提供す
ることにある.(課題を解決するための手段》 前記目的を達成するために、マルチレーダビデオ合成表
示装置は次の如き構成を有する.即ち、本発明のマルチ
レーダビデオ合成表示装置は、複数のレーダ装置から入
手した複数のレーダビデオの対応するものをディジタル
化する複数のA/D変換器と; 前記複数のA/D変換
器の対応するものの出力を記憶する複数のメモリと;前
記複数のレーダビデオそれぞれについての角度情報に基
づき対応するレーダビデオを対応する前記メモリに書き
込むためのアドレスを算出する複数の座標変換器と; 
前記複数のレーダ装置から入手した複数のレーダ位置情
報に基づき前記複数のメモリそれぞれに対する読み出し
アドレス信号を発生する読み出し制御回路と; 前記複
数のレーダビデオが表示されるラスタスキャン方式の表
示器と; 前記複数のメモリの対応するものの出力をア
ナログ化する複数のD/A′RtA器、または、合成出
力をアナログ化しそれを前記表示器に出力する1つのD
/A変換器と; 前記複数のメモリの出力を前記複数の
D/A変換器を介してまたは直接的に受けてそれらを合
成し、その合成出力を直接的にまたは前記1つのD/A
変換器を介して前記表示器に送出する合成器と; を備
えたことを特徴とするものである. (作 用) 次に、前記の如く構成される本発明のマルチレーダビデ
オ合成表示装置の作用を説明する.周知のように、レー
ダビデオはPPI表示される信号であるから、これをラ
スタスキャン方式の信号に走査変喚してメモリに書き込
む.そして、レーダ位置情報に基づき表示器のラスタス
キャンに合わせてメモリの読み出しアドレス信号を作成
し、メモリから読み出しなレーダビデオを表示器に合成
表示する. その結果、レーダ局が移動する場合でも、その移動体レ
ーダ局の覆域が固定レーダ局や他の移動体レーダ局の覆
域と共に表示画面に表示されることになる. (実 施 例) 以下、本発明の実施例を図面を参照して説明する. 第1図は本発明の一実施例に係るマルチレーダビデオ合
成表示装置を示す.以下、第1図に従って、2つのレー
ダ装置からのレーダビデオを合成表示する動作を説明す
る.図示しないレーダ装置#1と同#2からは、レーダ
情報(ビデオ信号と角度情報)とレーダ位置情報が無線
伝送等で送信されて来る.レーダ装置(#1.#2)か
らのビデオ信号は対応するA/D変換器(10.20)
にそれぞれ入力し、デイジタル化され、対応するメモリ
(11.21)にそれぞれ入力する.メモリ(11.2
1)は、そのアドレスがラスタスキャン方式の表示器の
表示画面の各画素(X−Yの直交座標で与えられる)に
対応している.そこで、座標変換器(12.22)は、
レーダ装置から伝送される角度情報をもとに極座標(R
,θ)を直交座凛(X,Y)へ変換しテメモリ(11.
21)に書き込むためのアドレスを生成する.つまり、
ディジタル化されたビデオデータは走査変換されてメモ
リ(11.21)に書き込まれる.次いで、読み出し制
御回路14は、レーダ装置(#1.,#2)から伝送さ
れてくるレーダ位置情報に基づきメモリ(11.21)
に対する所望の読み出しアドレスを発生する.そして、
このようにメモリ(11.21)から読み出されたとデ
オデータは対応するD/A変換器(13.23)でアナ
ログ信号へ変換され、合成回路15で合成される.即ち

示画面の所定位置に固定配置するとすれば、このように
なされたレーダ装置#1のアナログビデオ信号に対しレ
ーダ装置#2のアナログビデオ信号を加算合成するので

は固定的にできるが、移動体レーダ局であれば例えばそ
の都度位置設定を行うことになる.斯くして、合成され
たアナログビデオ信号は、表示器16の表示画面に例え
ば第2図に示す如く合成表示される.第2図では、レー
ダ装置#2がレーダ装置#1の方向へ移動している移動
体レーダ局であって、両者の覆域は時刻t9では重複し
ていなかったが(第2図(a)) 、次の時刻t ni
1では重複した(第2図(b))場合を示している.レ
ーダ装置#1の覆域は固定の定位置に表示されることは
前述した通りである. なお、合成回路15は、本実施例ではアナログ回路で楕
