Conventional technology Among gas, oil, and other combustion equipment, those that emit combustion exhaust gas indoors, such as reflector type combustion heating equipment, do not oxidize harmful gases such as carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons in the exhaust gas. For purification, oxidation catalysts have become widely used. Various installation methods and locations for this oxidation catalyst have been proposed, but all of them are installed in a cylindrical case to allow for the natural flow of combustion exhaust gas and to efficiently introduce exhaust gas into the catalyst. The catalyst is housed and installed with a designated space between the combustion tube and the top plate.

Function: Insert the protrusion of the case body into the elongated hole of the metal fitting in parallel, and move the metal fitting perpendicular to the protrusion, so that the protrusion engages with the metal fitting, and the case body can be suspended by the metal fitting. Then, attach the mounting part of the metal fitting to the top plate of the combustion equipment.

This catalyst case consists of a pair of metal fittings 1, 1 and a case body 2. The catalyst case body 2 has a cylindrical shape with a pair of T-shaped protrusions 3, 3 at opposing positions on the upper end, and a plurality of protrusions 4 for fixing the catalyst. The T-shaped protrusion 3 has a recess 5, which allows connection with a metal fitting.

The metal fitting 1 connected to this protrusion has a structure in which two mutually parallel strip-shaped pieces 6 and 7 are connected by a connecting piece 8, and one of the strip-shaped pieces 6 has a T A long hole 9 is provided in the other strip 7 so that it can be connected to the kerosene heater body.
is provided. In addition, when the catalyst is set and attached to the kerosene stove, the connecting piece 8 provides a necessary gap for the combustion gas of the kerosene stove to pass through the catalyst and between the catalyst and the top plate, and also reverses the flow. This is for positioning to prevent the catalyst from being installed too close to the combustion tube, and its length, that is, the distance between the strips 6 and 7, is determined in the range of 10 to 50 mm.

To assemble the metal fitting 1 with the case body 2, first, the catalyst 11 is fixed to the catalyst case body 2, as shown in FIG. At this time, the easiest way to fix the catalyst is to place it on the protrusion 4 of the catalyst case. Next, the metal fitting 1 is fixed to this. 1st
As shown by the dotted line at the top of the figure, the metal fitting 1 is inserted so that its elongated hole 9 is parallel to the T-shaped protrusion 3 of the catalyst case body 2, and then rotated 90 degrees. By doing this, the piece 6 with the elongated hole 9 of the metal fitting
The T-shaped protrusion 3 fits into the recess 5 and is movable in the direction of the arrow x in FIG. 1, but does not come off the main body. Being able to move in the direction of the arrow x means that the position of the mounting hole 10 with respect to the top plate can be changed freely, making it possible to mount it on any type of kerosene stove. FIG. 6 shows the state in which it is actually installed above the combustion tube 13 of the kerosene stove 12. A hole is drilled in the top plate of a kerosene stove to allow exhaust gas to escape, but the location of this hole varies depending on the manufacturer and model. Therefore, as shown in the figure, it is necessary to attach it at point A or point B, but in the catalyst case of the present invention, the metal fitting 1 can be moved freely.
