Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent erroneous connection due to the change of station information occurring when a switching processing is applied on a call storing the rewrite of the station information next by judging the rewrite of the station information only at the start-up part of the switching processing. CONSTITUTION:When the change of the station information occurs during performing the switching processing, a station information change program is started up. The station information change program identifies whether or not a terminal or a trunk being processed at present exists, and sets a station information change flag on all the terminals or trunks being processed at present. After that, the station information is rewritten matching with a change request, then, the change of the station information is completed. In the switching processing, the change is always continued to be detected, and when the change is detected, and a content representing the detection of the change is transmitted to a switching processing start-up program, then, the switching processing is started up. The station information change flag of the terminal or the trunk from which the change is detected is referred in the switching processing start-up program.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Field of Industrial Application] The present invention relates to the improvement of storage program controlled exchanges in the field of telecommunications such as telephones, and in particular to station information such as numbering plans and number of trunk lines set for each exchange. This paper relates to an improvement in the station information setting method for changing the information while the exchange is in operation.

Since exchanges in the public telephone network are supposed to operate 24 hours a day and have an important social mission, it is essential to change the exchange information while the exchange is in operation, and this has been done for a long time.

However, because switching centers in public communication networks cannot tolerate service interruptions, the central processing units, etc. are duplicated, so that even if one central processing system fails, the service will not be interrupted. It is structured.

Therefore, even when changing station information, it is possible to change the station information in the standby system central processing unit, and then change it instantly by switching between the active system and the standby system. It is now easier to change the station information in the middle.

However, in small-scale exchanges such as private branch exchanges, the central processing unit occupies a large proportion of the hardware due to the difference in scale, so duplication of the central control unit will result in a significant increase in cost, and software control will also be difficult. Due to its complexity, it is rarely duplicated.

In general, private branch exchanges used in offices, etc. are rarely operated 24 hours a day, and are suspended at night, on holidays, and on holidays, so changes to station information have also been considered on the assumption that operations will be suspended. . For example, JP-A-56-1225
As shown in Publication No. 59, there is a method for maintenance (including changing station information) and testing that assumes the suspension of operation, i.e., stopping the uneconomical changing of station information during exchange connection processing, and improving maintenance and testing equipment. The system was designed to simplify program execution management by selecting between command reception processing and exchange connection processing.

In exchanges that cannot stop exchange connection processing even for an instant once they start operating, such as telephone exchanges that exchange public communication lines, changes in station information that vary depending on the circumference may not affect exchange connection processing. In order to prevent this, complicated software control was required, such as using a group of commands such as blockage, data writing, and table modification, as well as state transition diagrams for trunks, etc.

However, even with complex software control, when incorporating the changed station information into actual operations, maintenance staff must operate commands to incorporate common station information that affects all subscribers, such as numbering plans, etc. However, if a command is input while a subscriber is dialing, the station information will change, causing a discrepancy between the subscriber's dial and the exchange's dial development process. There is a possibility of incorrect connection.

In addition, in small-scale exchanges where the exchange power can be turned off on holidays, at night, etc., the exchange connection processing is stopped on holidays, at night, etc., and the station information is changed. This method prevents inconsistencies in exchange connection processing due to rewriting of station information, and eliminates the need for complex software configurations that require rewriting station information during exchange connection processing. This system has the disadvantage of poor maintainability because it can only be used on holidays and at night when people are not using their phones or terminals. On the other hand, private branch exchanges installed in hospitals, hotels, etc. are required to operate 24 hours a day, so when changing the station information at such installed stations, the operation of the exchange must be temporarily stopped during slow call periods. There was a drawback that it had to be done.

The present invention rewrites the station information during exchange processing in a storage program controlled exchange, and stores the fact that the station information has been rewritten only for calls that are being exchanged. When performing the next switching process for a call for which the replacement has been memorized, it is determined whether the switching process causes a contradiction in the switching process due to the rewriting of the station information, and if there is no contradiction, the switching process is continued. There is no need to be aware of rewriting the station information during the exchange process, and the decision to rewrite the station information is made only at the start of the exchange process. Change processing can be realized.

As before, the exchange connection process is executed without any awareness of rewriting the station information, and the station information is rewritten when a request to change, add, or delete station information occurs, and It is remembered that the station information has been rewritten only for calls, and it is determined whether or not there is a processing inconsistency due to the change in the station information for calls for which the station information has been rewritten. Therefore, calls that are unrelated to the station information rewriting procedure continue to be exchanged, so calls that are busy or on hold, which account for the majority of exchange processing, are not subject to the station information rewriting procedure. In addition, for calls that cause inconsistencies in exchange processing, it is possible to take measures such as setting a busy connection in advance, and erroneous connections can be prevented, so complex software configurations can be avoided. It is now possible to change station information while the exchange is in operation without having to prepare expensive hardware.

When the exchange is in operation, it constantly detects various changes and starts various exchange processes according to the changes, sending out dial tones and closing communication paths (see Figure 1). 1). If a request to change station information occurs during the exchange process, the station information change program is started (2 in Figure 1).

It identifies whether there is a trunk and sets the station information change flag for all trunks being processed (3 in FIG. 1).

In the exchange process, change detection is constantly executed as described above, and when a change is detected, the content of the detected change is transmitted to the exchange process startup program, and the exchange process is started. In the exchange processing startup program,
Refer to the station information change flag of the terminal or trunk where the change was detected. If the station information change flag is set,
It turned out that the station information was rewritten during the exchange process, and currently,
It is determined whether the exchange processing to be started depends on the station information (4 in FIG. 1).

For example, if a disconnection process is to be started, the exchange process will be started with the current start request as it is not affected by the rewriting of the station information. However, if the other party's dial reception has been completed and you start an exchange process that actually captures the relay line, the relay line may have been changed to a different route due to the station information being rewritten. Since this will result in an incorrect connection, start the busy connection process (4 in Figure 1).

This example shows an example in which the exchange process startup program does not determine the exchange process contradiction when the station information is rewritten, but the station information is classified into numbering plans, trunk lines, etc. A method is also conceivable in which a plurality of station information change flags are provided and the exchange processing contradiction judgment is performed in detail.

In addition, it is also possible to determine inconsistencies in exchange processing due to refolding of station information by directly using the change detection program, but in this embodiment, in order to simplify the software as much as possible, the exchange processing startup program I gave an example of performing a contradiction judgment.

According to the present invention, in an exchange using a storage program control system, it is possible to change station information that differs depending on the circumference even during exchange processing, and to prevent errors due to rewriting of station information. Since this connection can be prevented, station information can be changed while the exchange is in operation with simple software control, with almost no changes to the conventional exchange processing.
