Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the spectacle frame which has an antislip effect and has an ornamental effect as well by forming projecting parts consisting of a resin having flexibility and good touch to the skin on the contact surfaces of nose pads and skull temples. CONSTITUTION:The projecting parts 6, 6... are formed on the contact surface 5 of an end piece 4. Since the projecting parts 6 are brought into direct contact with the skin, the relatively soft resin, such as silicone, is used. Hollow grooves having a proper shape are formed on a base material 7 and the resin is applied in the hollow grooves. The resin is used in such an amt. at which the resin builds up from the surface of the base material 7. The adhesion of the projecting parts 6 formed to the prescribed shape into the above-mentioned hollow grooves without forming the projecting parts 6 by applying the resin in the hollow grooves of the base material 7 is possible as well. The slip down of the worn spectacles is obviated in this way.

However, conventional nose pads and modern nose pads are slippery and cannot keep the glasses in the correct position, often shifting one position and slipping off. Glasses tend to get misaligned and sometimes even slip off the face, not only during strenuous exercise, but also during work that requires physical movement. Therefore, small irregularities are formed on the surface that comes in contact with the skin to prevent such slippage. Although there are some that do, a simple uneven surface cannot completely prevent slipping. This phenomenon of misalignment of glasses often occurs during the sweaty summer months, and even though silicone resin is often used for nose pads because it is a material that feels good against the skin, it can easily become slippery if the sweat gets on it. Functionality will be halved.

(Objective of the present invention) As described above, conventional eyeglass frames, whether they are made of metal or resin, cannot be worn stably in a fixed position, resulting in the problems described above. do. The present invention is a technology developed with the aim of solving these problems. In addition to providing an anti-slip effect, the present invention also aims to provide a kind of decorative effect by changing the location where the convex portion is formed. To provide eyeglass frames that can be used.

(Structure of the Present Invention) The eyeglass frame of the present invention has a convex portion formed on the surface that contacts the skin, and the convex portion is not formed at the same time as molding, but is formed by fixing different materials. Although the different material is not limited here, it is preferable to use a material that has a high coefficient of friction with the skin and is comfortable to the skin. Therefore, silicone resin is commonly used as a resin with such properties, and although this resin is applied to the contact surface of the frame, it is not possible to form convex parts just by applying it to a flat surface. Since there is not, a groove is formed and the coating is applied inside the groove.

Moreover, even if the resin rises from the surface, it does not flow out to the surrounding area due to surface tension, and is formed into a smooth curved surface, which is then cured.

In addition, in the present invention, it is possible not only to form convex portions by heaping up such resin, but also to form a resin layer by applying resin to the convex portions formed directly on the frame surface. A part with a smoothly raised surface is molded in a separate process, and the part is attached to the frame contact surface to form the convex part.

By the way, the protrusions are formed on the contact surfaces of the nose pads and mods that come in contact with the skin, but the protrusions are also formed on the outer surface of the frame, such as on both sides of the front frame and on both sides of the temple. This can result in a decorative three-dimensional pattern. When forming a three-dimensional pattern, a hard resin may be used instead of a flexible resin such as silicone.

(Example) FIG. 1 shows a specific example of a general metal eyeglass frame, in which a temple 3 is connected to end pieces 2 brazed on both sides of a front frame 1, and a temple 3 is connected to the end of the temple 3. is installed with Modern 4. The modern 4 is attached to the end of the temple so that the metal temple 3 does not come into contact with the skin when wearing glasses, but the contact surface 5 of the modern 4 has convex portions 6, 6, . . .・ is formed (see Figure 2). Since the convex portion 6 comes into direct contact with the skin, a relatively soft resin such as silicone is used. However, the base material 7 has a groove in an appropriate shape, and the resin is applied to the groove. Use an appropriate amount so that it rises above the surface of the base material 7. Of course, the convex portion 6 may not be formed by applying resin to the concave groove of the base material 7, but the convex portion 6 formed in a predetermined shape may be adhered to the concave groove. Here, the groove can be formed by cutting it with a tool, but it can be formed instantly by laser processing. Further, the location where such a convex portion 6 is formed corresponds not only to the modern contact surface 5 in FIG. 1 but also to the contact surface of the nose pad 8.

As mentioned above, the convex portions 6.9.11 are formed on the surface that comes in contact with the skin to prevent the glasses from slipping and can further improve the contact with the skin. can be used as a decoration technique for eyeglass frames. Traditional methods of decoration on eyeglass frames include plating, painting,
Although printing and the like are merely formed with a two-dimensional spread, three-dimensional patterns can be formed on the frame surface by using the above-mentioned convex portions.

FIG. 5 shows a pattern in which the above-mentioned convex portions are decorated with rose flowers. To form this pattern, first, the contour groove 13 is processed by projecting a laser beam. If the laser beam is used, by programming the movement of the beam in advance, the contour groove 13 can be processed accurately in a short time, and the resin can be applied within the area surrounded by the contour groove 13. This point is the same as in the case of FIG. 3 above. The resin is applied in a raised manner from the surface of the frame base material 15, and then hardened. Curing may be natural curing or forced curing by heating. In this case, the protrusions formed as a decorative pattern are not required to be flexible, unlike the protrusions formed to prevent slipping on the contact surface with the skin, so hard resin such as epoxy resin is used. .

FIG. 6 is an enlarged cross-sectional view taken along line B-B in FIG.
In addition to the contour grooves 13, pattern grooves 16 representing tooth fibers are formed, and these contour grooves 13 and pattern grooves 16 have convex portions 17.
A resin with a different color than the resin applied to form it is applied. Of course, depending on the shape of the convex part 17, if it functions as a decoration without forming the pattern groove 16, the convex part 17 may simply be raised within the contour groove 13. Furthermore, FIG. 7 is similar to FIG. This is an enlarged cross-sectional view taken along the line C-C. In this case as well, contour grooves 13 and pattern grooves 16 are laser-processed on the surface of the base material 15, and these valley grooves 13.16
A paint mixed with a predetermined pigment is applied to the surface, and a paint having a different color is further applied and cured to form the convex portion 18. Also, pattern grooves 1 are formed on the surface of the convex portion 18 to form petals.
9 has been processed and can be decorated with roses that have a three-dimensional appearance.

FIG. 8 is an enlarged view of part D in FIG. 7, and the pattern grooves 19 formed on the surface of the convex portion 18 are not just grooves, but a resin of a different color from that of the convex portions 18 is applied inside the pattern grooves 19. This further enhances the decorative effect. FIG. 8a shows a case where a small amount is applied to the bottom of the pattern groove 19, and FIG.

In forming a three-dimensional pattern in this way, simply forming the convex portions 17.18 on the surface of the base material 15 has a poor decorative effect. A remarkable effect as a three-dimensional pattern can be obtained by laser processing or by processing pattern grooves 16 in advance on the surface of the base material 15 as shown in Fig. 6, and forming convex portions 17 with transparent paint. . Therefore, the three-dimensional pattern is not limited to the above-mentioned rose, but may also be a geometric pattern, and the type of the pattern may be one that matches the overall design of the eyeglass frame.

(Effects) (1) Convex portions are formed on the frame surface, especially on the contact surfaces of the nose pads and temples that come into contact with the skin, and the convex portions are made of silicone resin or other materials that are highly flexible and have good contact with the skin. If they are made of resin, the glasses can be worn stably without slipping off. In addition, the flexible convex part touches the skin,

(2) A decorative effect can also be obtained by providing convex portions formed for the same purpose on the frame surface. In particular, compared to conventional two-dimensional decorative means, the effect is remarkable because it is three-dimensionally formed.
Furthermore, since the contour grooves and pattern grooves are laser-processed, such three-dimensional patterns can be easily created.
