像スリーブを回転させ、該現像スリーブ周面上に
付着搬送された現像剤をもつて像担持体上の潜像
を現像するようにした現像装置において、該現像
装置のハウジングの上面に、前記像担持体面に沿
い、かつ前記マグネツトロールの主磁極と該主磁
極と隣り合う搬送上流側の異磁極との中間位置に
対応する前記現像スリーブの周面に近接した遮蔽
