Abstract

PURPOSE:To finish the processed face of a rubber molding beautifully and prevent generation of scratchs thereon by chamfering or cutting the non-treated portion of the rubber molding by means of water jet with high pressure. CONSTITUTION:The injection nozzle portion of a water jet is positioned on the non-treated face of a rubber molding. A jet with high pressure is injected from the nozzle portion toward the non-treated face so as to remove and cut its burr and at the same time to polish the face to obtain a beautifully finished face.

Normally, when processing a drawn material such as rubber, for example, a rubber backing molding, it is inevitable that a large number of irregularities such as fringes are created around the entire circumference of the molding surface.

Conventionally, such deburr removal methods include metal polishing or finishing treatment with a knife, but since the material of the molded object is rubber, the treated surface is soft and has no elasticity. This process is extremely difficult, especially in the case of small items, and is not only dangerous but also non-negotiable. It had a serious problem of efficiency.

The present invention aims to remove particles adhering to the non-molded surface of molded products such as rubber by utilizing the hydraulic jetting force of the water jet. Incidentally, the Gisoto pressure is adjusted high or low depending on the object to be ground, but usually it is 5.0
By performing the injection at OOK pressure, it is possible to easily remove debris from the molded product.

Furthermore, since water jet processing is used, the finished surface quickly responds to any uneven shape, and the processed surface is naturally polished, eliminating the need for a conventional cleaning step after finishing. Moreover, it does not require any labor or skill, so even amateurs, elderly people, etc. can engage in it comfortably without any concerns about danger.
