Abstract

PURPOSE:To suppress the sending of information different from an operator's purpose to a computer body when the bottom of the body part is separated from a mouse sheet by fixing a contact type sensor to the bottom, detecting a signal from the sensor, and outputting data from the body part. CONSTITUTION:When the bottom of the body part 1 is in contact with the mouse sheet 3, a signal from the sensor 4 is detected by a sensor signal detecting part 51 and a switch 52 is turned on. When the bottom of the body part 1 is separated from the mouse sheet 3, the separated state is detected by the sensor 4 and the switch 52 is turned off. Thereby, a light emitting part 21 stops light emission and a light receiving pulse is not generated from a light receiving part 23, so that no signal is inputted to the computer body 6.

With the conventional mouse device described above, when you want to move the mouse cursor on the computer screen over a wide range, the size of the mouse seat is limited, so after moving the main body once, you have to lift the main body from the mouse seat. It was necessary to repeat the operation of moving the main body again by moving it back to the starting position. At this time, if the height of lifting the main unit is low, the light emitted from the bottom of the main unit will be reflected by the mouse sheet and detected by the light receiving unit, so the position of the mouse cursor on the computer screen This causes the robot to return to its original direction, requiring the above-mentioned operations to be performed more than planned, resulting in poor operability.

As shown in FIG. 1, there is a main body 1 that moves with its bottom touching the mouse seat 3, and a light emitting unit 21 that is provided inside the main body 1 and detects the amount of movement of the main body 1 on the mouse seat 3. A movement detecting section 2 using optical means consisting of a power source 22 for a light emitting section 21, a light receiving section 23, and a received light pulse detecting section 24, and a sensor for detecting whether or not the bottom surface of the main body section 1 is in contact with the mouse seat 3. 4, and the bottom of the main body 1 is the mouse seat 3.
An output consisting of a sensor signal detection section 51 that outputs a switch control signal in response to a detection signal from the sensor 4 when in contact with the sensor 4, and a switch 52 that connects the circuit between the light emitting section 21 and the power source 22 in response to the switch control signal. The control unit 5 is configured to include a control unit 5. Note that the power source other than the light emitting section 21 is not shown in FIG.

As a result, the power 22 is turned on to the light emitting section 21 and the light emitting section 2
1 emits light, the light receiving section 23 detects the light reflected from the mouse sheet 3 on which vertical and horizontal black lines are drawn, and the received light pulse detecting section 24 counts the number of pulses to determine the amount of movement of the main body section 1. By detecting this, the amount of movement of the main body 1 can be sent to the computer main body 6.

Main body part 1. When the bottom surface of the mouse sheet 3 is in contact with the mouse seat 3, the sensor signal detection section 51 of the output control section 5 detects the signal from the sensor 4, and the switch 52 is brought into conduction. Thereby, the amount of movement detected by the received light pulse detection section 24 of the movement amount detection section 21 is transmitted to the computer main body 6.
