グローラ2で感光ドラム5、転写ローラ4の回転と同期
されて転写位置に搬送される。感光ドラム5の周囲には
帯電装置7、露光装置(図の場合はレーザースキャナ)
9、現像装置3、転写ドラム4、クリーニング装N6、
除電装置8が設けられる。トナー像を転写された記録紙
は搬送ベルト12によって定着装置10を経てスタッカ

におこない、転写ローラと記録紙間のトナー像転移は圧
力を印加して行う。転写ローラは弾性層を有するため記
録紙の平滑度が低い場合でも加圧ローラによって押圧さ
れるためトナー像は良好に転写される。即ち記録紙の凹
部にもトナーが接触し転写されるため記録紙表面の凹部
にトナーの転写されない部分を生ずることなく転写ロー
