Abstract

PURPOSE:To surely shield light in the case of taking out a magazine by providing a lock member for locking a magazine and a lock releasing member for releasing the locking of the lock member only when the magazine is under the condition that the shutter is closed. CONSTITUTION:When the shutter is opened, a releasing lever 15 moves with an inner case 2 and a hook part 15a can not work to a lever 13, so that the locking of a lock lever 11 can not be released. When a shutter opening and closing button is pressed to operate a shutter opening and closing lever 3a in order to take out the magazine, the locking by an inner case lock lever 16 is released. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION (Field of Industrial Application) The present invention relates to an X-ray film magazine for storing unexposed film.

(Prior Art) Conventionally, there has been known a film changing device that takes out a photographed film from a cassette and loads an unphotographed film therein. An X-ray film magazine is used in this type of apparatus to store unexposed film.

There are two types of X-ray film magazines, one of which consists of a magazine body for storing film and a lid, which can be opened to replenish the film. An opening is formed in the lid and covered with a shutter. After the user attaches the magazine to the film changing device and manually opens the shutter, the user is ready to supply film.

Another type is one in which an inner box containing a film is fitted into a hollow outer box. The inner box and outer box are slidably fitted, and when the magazine is attached to the film changing device and the inner box is slid against the outer box, the opening formed in the inner box is exposed. The shutter opens (hereinafter referred to as this type of inner-box-outer-box method).In the former type of magazine, there are two steps: loading the magazine and opening the shutter.
An advantage of the inner-box/outer-box type magazine is that the steps from mounting the magazine to opening the shutter can be performed in one operation.

In conventional magazines of the inner box/outer box type, after the magazine is installed in the film exchange device, the magazine is locked to prevent it from coming off the device body.

However, with conventional magazines, if this locking operation is forgotten, there is a risk that the magazine will be inadvertently taken out even when the shutter is open and the film will be exposed. Furthermore, even if the lock is operated, the conventional lock mechanism can be operated regardless of whether the shutter is opened or closed, so the lock can be released even when the shutter is open, so it is possible to accidentally release the lock even when the shutter is open.
